  BUYER BEWARE! My trust in this company is completely gone. Unfortunately, I have to give them 1 star because there’s no option to give NONE!!! I purchased a preventative maintenance plan in June to cover BOTH of my AC units. Only AFTER purchasing the plan, I was told they would not perform preventative maintenance until December 2026 because they only service units in May and December, claiming it is too hot during the summer for their technicians. Had this been disclosed before I paid for the plan, I would not have never purchased it. I explained that my units had not been serviced since the previous October and that waiting six months was unacceptable. After repeatedly complaining, they finally agreed to service them sometime in September and made it clear they were basically doing me a “favor.” Unfortunately, September wasn't soon enough. In August, my second upstairs unit became clogged and backed up. Water ran from the upstairs air handler down the walls, damaging the drywall ceiling and walls in my stairwell. I was furious because I had already PAID this company for preventative maintenance that had yet to be performed. They sent a technician the next day to unclog the line. Their technician blamed the water damage on the float switch, saying it failed to shut off the unit. I was suspicious of this explanation, especially when they wanted to charge me almost $300 to replace the float switch, they claimed was not working properly. I declined the repair because I wanted a second opinion. I also spoke with the owner, Adam, whom I found extremely rude and unprofessional. He refused to take responsibility and told me he could send his drywall person to repair the damage, but I would have to pay for it myself. I explained that if my units had been serviced when I purchased the maintenance plan in June, the clogged line could have been addressed before it backed up and damaged my home. At this point, I no longer trusted the company, so I hired another HVAC company to inspect the unit and specifically check the float switch. Guess what they found? THE FLOAT SWITCH WAS WORKING PROPERLY. The very component this company blamed for my unit continuing to run and wanted to charge me almost $300 to repair, was inspected by another HVAC company and found to be functioning properly. That was the final straw for me. Not only was I extremely concerned that they wanted me to pay almost $300 for a repair that, according to the second HVAC company, was unnecessary, but it made me question whether I could trust this company's diagnoses or repair recommendations going forward. I purchased a maintenance plan without being told I could potentially wait six months for service, experienced water damage while waiting for that maintenance, and was then told a float switch was faulty that another HVAC company determined was functioning properly. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this company! If you're considering their maintenance plan, ask exactly WHEN they will service your system before paying and if they tell you something on your system needs to be repaired or replaced, I STRONGLY recommend getting a second opinion. My trust in this company is completely gone. I say again, "BUYER BEWARE".

  I went thru Mark Kalafian, who is connected with Underwood AC. Everyone was very pleasant and even cleaned after my kids... Lol. They walked me thru everything.

  Had a heat pump system put in in Aug and had a problem which was immediately addressed by Underwood technicians, so I wanted to let the system run for a while before writing a review. The system has been running very well for over a month now, and we can't believe how quiet this Daikin heat pump system is both outside and extremely quiet inside. We are very happy with our new system. Thank you to the whole Underwood team. Excellent job.

  I called Underwood AC after hearing about the company through the Four Corners Community Group. I must say that it is one of the best companies I’ve dealt with since moving to the area. My AC unit froze up on Sunday evening. I defrosted it and followed the recommended steps, but the temperature in the house remained above the thermostat setting and the system still was not cooling. Although I called Underwood AC after hours, I was able to schedule an appointment for the following afternoon. When Victor arrived, I explained the issues, and he thoroughly inspected the system. He was knowledgeable and approachable, and he answered all my questions clearly. He found a refrigerant leak in the outside unit. The AC and heating system that came with the house was more than 10 years old and, of course, out of warranty. I already knew I wanted to replace it because of the previous AC installer’s poor workmanship. The outside unit was also noisy and far too large for the small space beside the house. See the before-and-after pictures! Kenneth came out to discuss which type of system would be best for my house. He was also very knowledgeable and personable. We scheduled the installation for Thursday, and Victor made sure I had enough refrigerant to keep the existing system running until the new one could be installed. Carlos and Mason were today’s installers, and they were fabulous! They were extremely polite and helpful, demonstrated excellent workmanship, and went above and beyond to make the inside unit look great. I am so happy that I chose Underwood AC. I can’t thank the team enough for its professionalism, courtesy, great pricing, and commitment to ensuring that the work was top-notch!

  Carlos and Mark were a pleasure to have in our home and were meticulous about every detail of the installation. Their work is something to be proud of, and they offered follow up if we needed anything.
