My experience with Solar Tech Elec was great, from the first phone call with owner Ross, through the permitting, and installation with David and Brandon. Everything went as promised, including the projected cost savings on my electric bill! So I upgraded 2 months after the original install, in April '26, to another battery pack and a couple more panels, and even a 220v plug for my EV charger. The Tesla Powerwall and Gateway are user friendly through the app. And I like that it monitors the weather to make sure the batteries are 100% before severe weather. The workmanship, products, and service have been outstanding.

The company has been great to work with. Super responsive! I got quotes from a local company, a national company, and two Florida-wide companies. This company was the best price by several thousands and uses some of the best equipment. They had everything installed very quickly. We just had our inspection signed off so I’m excited to start saving money on electric! Ross has been great to work with and answers all my questions very quickly. I would recommend them to everyone

After the company that originally installed my solar system five years ago went out of business, I wanted to find a reliable team to add battery backup. Many companies I contacted never responded, but Ross from Solar Tech was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions.
Most of the other installers I spoke with recommended Tesla, which definitely aligned with the top brands I was seeing in my own research. Ultimately, though, my main priority was finding an installer that I felt would be around to honor their warranty and equipment that would stand the test of time. Brandon performed the installation and did a fantastic job. Both he and Ross made it clear I could reach out anytime with questions.
The system has been running smoothly for a week. I still get the same great solar production, but now with the added peace of mind of instant backup for my critical loads during stormy Florida weather. The monitoring app is very intuitive.
Finally, addressing other comments I've seen: I was never pressured into leaving a 5-star review. After following up multiple times to ensure my system was working properly, they simply asked for a review if I had the time, like virtually every other buisness in this digital age. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend Solar Tech.

The initial phone conversation with Daniel was very welcoming and he made it easy to understand how the whole Solar process works and also provided plenty of supporting materials to further highlight the many benefits of transitioning into Solar Energy as a way of life. The install process was flawless and the installers keep me well abreast of the all the details along the way.
