Charlie really came through for us. We had a roof leak and he sent a team that same afternoon to put a tarp where the leak was occurring. Then the very next day the team came back, found the leak, and repaired it. This was crucial because at that time we were having a rain system for several days. Talk about exceptional service, I wish I could give 10 stars! A big and sincere “thank you” to Charlie and the team!

I called Charlie Rice Roofing on the advice of a neighbor and they far exceeded my expectations. Quick response and quick scheduling. They have my 100% recommendation.

This is now the 3rd roof we’ve done with Charlie. He’s simply the best. If you are deciding between 2 pick him. He is a great communicator and goes above and beyond to make sure the site is kept clean nail free and he even roofed our shed for me so kind too!

Very good experience with replacing our roof. Pricing was fair, maybe not the lowest, but as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for!” The workers were polite and friendly and cleaned up around the house everyday at quitting time. C Rice pays his crew by the hour, not the job (he says this and his foreman did, too). Charlie has been in the roofing business for 35 years, and his crew members have 5 to 30 years’ roofing experience with C Rice. They take the time to do it right—no rush leading to oversight or shoddy work. Modifications to correct some original roof design issues were done without having to ask. The only “add ons” were for some labor and replacement plywood decking that was found to have become water damaged — at the rate spelled out in the Proposal. At completion, the entire roof was washed, the gutters cleaned out and washed, and the walkways, patio and driveway were all power washed. Charlie did his own final inspection, and the job foreman told us the crew all know Charlie’s is fussy! We couldn’t ask for more!

We are on the last week of a total barrel tile replacement. Charlie and team have been so impressive with knowledge and skillset as well as consistently working 8-10 hour days with very good communication and the conscientious daily clean up are very much appreciated. I highly recommend Charlie Rice Roofing.
