  We had AC1 relocate our condensing units. They were much more affordable than others in the area and did a superb job. Very clean installation! They even went above and beyond, finding an issue outside their original scope and fixed it on the same day, under warranty. Very pleased with the work and professionalism. I would recommend AC1 for any HVAC work needs.

  These guys replaced an upstairs unit for us a few years ago. Other than tearing up some dry wall and breaking a closet door, they did fine. Really, I’m not overly concerned about those things. I wish they would have told me about them rather than trying to hide them with poor quality spot repairs. While they were here, I explained that we were getting a musty smell from our downstairs unit. They sold us on a UV lamp which they explained would sanitize the air coming off the coils (coils being key). The thing was $800 but they promised it would help. I paid and they installed it. I called AC1 back a couple weeks after it was installed and told them that we were NOT noticing a difference. They came out, looked at it, and said it was fine. I let it go and life went on. Today I had a service done on that unit and the tech pointed out that the lamp is installed in the wrong place as it sits before the coils. I was a new homeowner at the time and I had no idea what component of the A/C was what. Even with that said, I thought the visible exterior side of the light was just a control box/indicator and that the actual bulb was installed in the coils as there’s a wire that runs up and over that way. The way they installed this thing completely defeats the purpose of it based on the way that AC1 described and sold it to me. They’re the ones that explained to me that you can get moisture in the coils and then mold and mildew. Yet they installed it in a location that in no way affects the coils or air coming off the coils.

  From start to finish, Josh was absolutely amazing. He is so kind, fair, and honest. I’ve met many installers, technicians, and owners over the years, and hands-down, he is the best I’ve ever found. He made sure I have a high-efficiency air conditioner with a HALO-LED air purifier, which I highly recommend for anyone. Ivan and his team were very thorough and meticulous with the installation, and I’m even meeting Ethan soon for a separate follow-up inspection—that is just how thorough and dedicated they are to doing things right! I would use them 1000 times over again if I could. I am so happy to say that I found my forever AC company!
