- RGrick gecoApr 4, 20261.0Horrible customer service experience. I call the center that I have rented from in the past to reserve a truck which is 45 minutes from my shop. I get there and they said the truck rental location has changed and its by the airport 40 minutes away. Why would someone take a reservation at the specific place I called and not say the rental is in another location? I wasted an hr there and now another 49 minutes then another 45 after that to get back where the truck is needed. I get to the 2nd location and told the guy what happened and he chuckles. Another poor CS experience. Why would you laugh when you know that is not a fun start to the day and the company you worked for made a bad mistake. Alao that location by the airport looks bad. The landscape has weeds taller than the plant material and beds just covered in them with grass to tall to walk through.
- DRDiego RodriguezMay 9, 20251.0This location lost a customer today. I live on Plymouth Sorrento Rd, 7 minutes from this location and it would be my preferred rental spot. Today I needed a set of Bobcat forks and they had them in stock but refused to rent them to me cause I have my own machine and according to Josh the manager their policy is not to rent attachments without a paired machine. Funny how neither the Herc Orlando or Herc Sanford have this rule. Oh, and you know who also doesn't? Sunbelt rentals down the road, whom I was able to rent just the forks from. And if you need a third rental place recomendation, KWI in Mt. Dora also doesn't have that dumb rule and they rent skids for $243/day instead of Herc's $550/day. You're welcome.
