  I had this company out to stake my property corners for a new fence. I signed the contract and paid $400 for the deposit. The tech came out, I immediately let them know I did not need the right side of my house done as the fence was not being moved, just the left side. We were extending the left side to the property line. I got a call from a gentleman in the office stating I had additional fence that I could take on the right side, again I told them I was not interested in moving that side just the left! The tech left for a substantial amount of time and still focused on the right. I spoke to both the tech and the man on the phone in the office letting them know I knew the neighbor has part of our yard, we moved in this home with it like that and I don’t mind that it stays this way. After they left I was supposed to get an additional bill for $400 for the balance owed. The next bill I received was $800. So the total bill for them to come and stake my property corners was $1200 when it was supposed to be $800 TOTAL! I called to discuss and the man on the phone was very rude and said he’d call me back. He never did. Be careful with this company! They add ridiculous charges and it seems because their tech showed up here unprepared and had to return back to their office, I was charged for that time. No one returns your phone call either.

  I needed a Survey in order to get a plot plan of my home. Various Licensed Contractors needed to use copies of the plot plan to obtain various County Permits. I hired Merestone Consultants, Inc. & within 3 business days they were surveying my property. I had a PDF Plot Plan of my home emailed to me within 5 business days. I highly recommend Merestone Consultants, Inc.. Glad I did!

  I just wanted to thank Merestone Consultants for all of their help in working towards a new addition on my son's home. It started with a simple survey to have a fence installed but quickly led to them advising us on everything that needed to be completed to present to New Castle County for the new addition - they saved us time and money and I am most grateful for their experience, guidance and quick turn around time. I highly recommend Merestone Consultants for any homeowner that is starting a new project and wants to make sure that all bases are covered. Melissa Matarese

  I worked with Mike Early about surveying my property for an addition. He demonstrated expertise in his field, and has experience (and records!) that go back decades in the area. I recommend him to anyone that has engineering, land surveying, or planning needs.
