  Building our custom beach home with Turnstone Builders was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations We were amazed that our beautiful custom home was completed in just 9 months, and at no point did we feel like quality was sacrificed to meet that timeline. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout our home are exceptional. Every space reflects the pride and care that went into building it. What truly set Turnstone Builders apart was their collaborative approach. They listened to our ideas, valued our input, and made us feel like partners throughout the entire process. Their use of Coconstruct ensured communication was always prompt, questions were answered quickly, and every decision was handled with professionalism and honesty. Even while we were miles away from the build, we received daily pictures and updates that kept us connected every step of the way. We would especially like to thank Jimmy, Brandon, Harvey, Lisa, and Eric, along with the many talented people behind the scenes, for making our dream beach home a reality.   We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Turnstone Custom Homes on the complete remodel of our recently purchased beach house. Turnstone originally built the home 11 years ago, so when we decided to transform it into a fresh, contemporary coastal retreat, they were the only company we wanted to trust with the project—and they exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, the entire team was exceptional. They listened carefully to our vision, providing outstanding design guidance, and paid meticulously attention to every detail. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and commitment to quality are evident throughout our home, and the finished result is even better than we imagined. A special thank you goes to Harvey Ryan, COO, whose leadership and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the project. Morgan Garms, our Senior Project Manager, did an outstanding job coordinating every aspect of the remodel with exceptional communication, organization, and attention to detail. Lisa Newsom, our selections coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her design expertise and thoughtful guidance helped us make countless decisions with confidence and played a huge role in creating the beautiful contemporary coastal look we envisioned. We also want to recognize our Site Supervisors, Jason Hiesler and Mike Senpon, whose craftmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence ensured every phase of construction was completed to the highest standard. They treated our home as if it were their own and consistently went above and beyond. One of the most impressive aspects of the entire experience was the project was completed on time and within budget—something that is increasingly rare with a major renovation. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and every member of the Turnstone team demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to exceed our expectations.   We had wanted to renovate our small condo for years but couldn't find a contractor willing to take on a project this size. Turnstone said yes, and we're so glad they did. Our place is only about 750 square feet, but the ocean views are incredible, and we'd never been able to take full advantage of them. Turnstone did a full gut renovation and converted our unconditioned front porch into year-round living space. We now have modern appliances, all-new HVAC, and updated plumbing throughout. The best part is the retractable sliding door they added — it opens up the entire living area to the view. Our project manager, Morgan Garms, was excellent to work with, Jason the superintendent kept the job site running smoothly, and Lisa, the selections coordinator, made all the finish decisions easy. We absolutely love the result and loved the whole team. Highly recommend them.

  We used Turnstone for our home renovation in Bethany Beach - a down to the studs renovation. Morgan Garms was our project manager and we could not have been happier. The whole process, from initial planning to construction to working with outside designers, was handled with the highest customer service. The whole Turnstone team was there to provide guidance and recommendations, giving us access to their extensive experience. Turnstone consistently acted in our best interest and provided an attention to detail knowing that the final product was a reflection of their work and customer service. Shout out also to Jason Heisler who was our boots on the ground, Lisa Newnom who handled all of our purchases, Erik Kampmann who put our vision into the drawings and Julie Clark who got this whole thing started. We highly recommend.
