  Custom mechanical is awesome. I originally called another company early in the morning. And it put me on their list for the day. They text me back at 5:30 that evening and said they could not come until the next day. I called custom mechanical, they came that evening at 7:30. The technician, Brandon professional. He had me fixed up in about an hour. Definitely recommend this company

  We were down to the wire of having 16 family members over the 4th of July with no A/C and temperatures in the high 90’s. The team at Custom Mechanical came through with diagnosing the problem with our current unit, securing a new unit and installing it within a few days. There were a lot of people involved in getting this done. We will continue to be a customer of this great company.

  My husband, Tom Murray and I discovered a few weekends ago that we were without air conditioning. We called Custom and scheduled an appointment with them for Monday morning. We have had a contract with them for 7 years. The technician checked the system and discovered that the TXV Valve was no longer functioning properly and needed to be replaced. We were given an estimate, told that they did not have the part in stock, told that it would take several days for the valve to arrive and the work would begin two weeks from the first visit. We received no calls with status or if Custom would arrive on the date stated. My husband called to see if Custom was ready to do the work. We were told that the part was on back order in Texas and it might be another week. It was now almost our third week without AC. We called another company, they came the next day, with the valve, fixed it quickly and charged hundreds less than Custom’s estimate. We called Custom and told them we would no longer need their services.

  Unfortunately, I am not able to leave zero stars. I honestly would not recommend this company as I had a bad run in with Lynn. Upon speaking the Lynn her tone from answering the phone till when we got off the phone just sounded very rude and condescending .. I guess she could be having a bad day. I do not appreciate this racist remarks. Lynn called me a “n-word” “air head” and she basically said that I was holding up the phone line with my questions. I did ask if I could possibly speak to someone else just due to the nature of the conversation, but she stated “no one else would like to help a n-word.” I just left the conversation at that. Being the first person a customer speaks to .. it’s really disheartening that the customer service poor. I have never experienced racial comments being said to me, so it caught me off guard.

  Custom Mechanical has been the family go-to for over a decade when it comes to anything heating/cooling related. They were referred to us by neighbors shortly after buying the house and have always been a pleasure to work with over the years. Every technician has been professional and courteous, always explaining the work and following up as promised each time. Office/Billing staff are a treat to speak with, always helpful and operate with a sense of urgency when needed. Now with the house in rental service they have a key and we trust them to take great care of our house and tenants when needed. Thanks for over a decade of great service and we look forward to working with you all for many more! PS - Thanks to Gregory for the most recent repair and service!
