Had chosen quartz for my counter top at another supplier who hadn't responded with an estimate after more than a wk. Torrco Bath Design recommended StoneHouse, in particular, Anthony Ferreira. Anthony called me the same day and had an estimate after he was sent my info from Torrco. Please give this man a raise! He was attentive to all the details and answered all my questions. He is so enthusiastic about his job. He needs to be in your TV commercial with all his energy and knowledge about the business. The installers did a great job.Love my counter. It's more beautiful than the pics and they completed my slab in 2 pieces instead of 3. Thankyou Antony and team!

I had an excellent experience working with StoneHouse. I was able to get granite countertops and backsplash for a price similar to what another company was going to charge for just countertops. The templeting and installation timeline met my needs and there wasn't any delays waiting around. The measurements were very thorough and everything came out great. I would recommend to work with StoneHouse or at least ask for a quote. You might be pleasantly surprised by the offer.

Frequently Asked Questions About StoneHouse by Temponi

What are the advantages and disadvantages of porcelain countertops?

Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons of porcelain countertops to help you decide if they're right for your kitchen: Advantages Durable and Long-Lasting: Porcelain is an incredibly strong material, even more so than some granites. It's resistant to scratches, chips, and stains, making it ideal for busy kitchens. Heat-Resistant: You won't have to worry about scorching your porcelain countertops with hot pans or dishes. They can withstand high temperatures without any problems. Stain-Resistant: Porcelain is non-porous, which means it won't absorb spills or stains. This makes it easy to clean up even the messiest kitchen disasters. Easy to Clean: Porcelain countertops require minimal maintenance. You can usually clean them with just soap and water. Elegant and Sophisticated: Porcelain countertops come in a wide variety of colors and styles, so you can find one that perfectly complements your kitchen décor. They can add a touch of luxury to your kitchen. Disadvantages Chipping and Cracking: While porcelain is strong, it can still chip or crack if you drop something heavy on it. Relatively Expensive: Porcelain countertops are one of the more expensive countertop options on the market. Visible Seams: Porcelain countertops are typically made in slabs, so you may see seams where the slabs are joined together. Cold to the Touch: Porcelain is a natural material and can feel cold to the touch, especially in colder climates. Weight: Porcelain is a heavy material, so your cabinets will need to be able to support its weight with a strong substructure. Overall, porcelain countertops are a great option for homeowners who are looking for a durable, low-maintenance, and stylish countertop material. However, they are also one of the more expensive options, and they can be chipped or cracked if not handled carefully.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of quartz countertops?

Quartz countertops are a popular choice for kitchens and bathrooms due to their many advantages. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons to help you decide if they're right for you: Advantages Durable and Long-Lasting: Quartz is a manufactured material made from crushed quartz stone combined with resins and binders. This combination makes it exceptionally strong and resistant to scratches, chips, and cracks. Non-Porous and Stain-Resistant: Quartz countertops are non-porous, which means they won't absorb spills or stains. This makes them ideal for busy kitchens and bathrooms where spills are common. You can clean them with just soap and water, requiring minimal maintenance. Wide Variety of Colors and Styles: Quartz countertops come in a vast array of colors and styles, from designs that mimic natural stone like marble or granite to solid colors with unique veining patterns. You can find a quartz countertop to complement any décor. Adds Value to Your Home: Quartz countertops are a popular upgrade that can increase the resale value of your home. Disadvantages Susceptible to Heat Damage: While quartz is generally heat-resistant, it can be damaged by very high temperatures. Placing hot pots or pans directly on the countertop can scorch or discolor the resin. It's always best to use hot pads or trivets. Visible Seams: Quartz countertops are typically manufactured in slabs and then joined together during installation. While seams can be skillfully crafted to minimize their visibility, they may still be noticeable depending on the color and pattern of the quartz. Cost: Quartz countertops can be more expensive than some other countertop materials, such as laminate or tile. However, their durability and low maintenance requirements can make them a worthwhile investment in the long run. Cold to the Touch: Quartz is a natural material and can feel cold to the touch, similar to granite or other natural stones. Overall, quartz countertops are a great choice for homeowners who want a durable, low-maintenance, and stylish countertop material. They are a good option for busy households and kitchens that see a lot of use. However, if you are on a tight budget or heat resistance is a major concern, you may want to consider other countertop options.
