WIN Waste Stamford (formerly Taylor Reed) is a transfer station and materials recovery facility (MRF) that specializes in recycling and the transfer of both municipal solid waste (MSW) and construction and demolition waste (C&D) for responsible end disposal. The MRF recycles source-separated materials such as paper and cardboard, and comingled recyclables such as plastic, glass, and metal food containers for reuse in new products — helping conserve our natural resources for future generations. The transfer station manages the transport of MSW to our Bridgeport, CT or Westchester, NY waste-to-energy facilities where it is converted to renewable energy.
