  I had work done in my basement to stop water from coming into my home when it rained. I had a huge problem with molding as well. so they also installed a dehumidifier. The crew that worked in my home basement were beyond my expectations. They were professional. Unfortunately I don't remember their names. They explained every step of the work they did from start to finish. That gave me a sense of security and assurance. Thank you Groundworks for your service, your products, and your crew. I will recommend you to anyone who will need your services.

  Do not trust Groundworks with your home. Their business model relies on sending unlicensed, untrained sales reps masquerading as "structural specialists" to pitch high-margin corporate products rather than real engineering solutions. The rep who came to my home drafted a flawed, nonsensical repair plan for a sinking structural beam. When I called out the obvious technical defects, I discovered that the rep had zero engineering credentials or structural licensing—and that their "engineers" never even visit the property to see if a plan makes sense in the real world. When I formally canceled the contract in writing, the facade instantly crumbled. The sales rep completely ghosted me and stopped responding to messages. Calling their New Haven line gets you stuck in a dead-end corporate call center loop where nobody can help, nobody returns calls, and there is literally no way to speak to anyone locally or in accounting. They drop you like a hot rock the second a deal falls through. I had to file a bank dispute just to get my deposit back. Groundworks is a private equity-owned, high-volume sales machine pushing pre-packaged products with zero customer support, no local accountability, and no real engineering integrity. Save yourself the headache and hire an independent structural engineer and local contractor instead.

  Although we got off to a rocky start due to lack of start date scheduling, when the work began the team was Ray, Juan and Mike. These gentlemen were pleasant and polite, they left the job site nice and clean and they were a pleasure to have in our home. I give them 5 stars

  Pete, Robert P, and Tony provided top-notch service for the support work that was done in our garage. They were professional, very knowledgeable, and kept me well informed of what they were doing. Angelo and his injection team were also great - excellent work and communication, and they kept me informed as the work progressed when they were doing the foam injection to raise our slanting garage floor. I am very pleased with both of these teams.

  I used Groundworks for waterproofing my basement. The crew who did the work (Brian C, Luis D, and Terrell W) were hardworking, trustworthy and wanted to ensure my problem was solved. As a foreman Brian was very communicative, and made sure I was aware of things along the way. They cleaned up well, and ensured I was happy. They were very easy to work with. Overall Groundworks was fairly easy to work with. After signing the contract, I did feel the sales agent felt his responsibilities were absolved. While he did respond to questions I had, I was surprised he never showed up during the work to see how things were gong or to ensure I was happy. I also wish the company was a one stop shop. It’s the owners responsibility to basically restore the demo the team needed to do. Overall I would recommend, but important to ask lots of questions and stay on top of the overall process.
