We had a great experience with Connor and would highly recommend him! Our AC condensate line had cracked and was leaking behind the siding, and the existing pipe was also positioned in a way that created a muddy mess right outside our door.
He came out the day after I called and gave us several options for fixing it. He provided a reasonable quote and was even able to squeeze us in and complete the work that same day.
The work was excellent, he was very pleasant to work with, and the price was very reasonable. We’re very happy with the result and would definitely call him again for any future plumbing needs!

Excellent service from start to finish! Connor was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and arrived on time. He quickly identified the problem, explained everything clearly, and got the job done right. The work was clean and efficient, and the pricing was fair with no surprises. Connor really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend this company, and especially Connor, to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy plumber!

Frequently Asked Questions About Capital Region Plumbing Contractors LLC
Do you offer emergency plumbing and heating services in Connecticut?
Yes. We know that burst pipes, main line backups, and water heater failures can happen at any time. Reach out to us right away for emergency service across our Connecticut coverage areas.
Are your technicians licensed and insured in Connecticut?
Absolutely. All of our team members hold full licensing and insurance in accordance with Connecticut state requirements, so every job is completed safely, to code, and with a guarantee.
How much do you charge for a service call or estimate?
We provide upfront pricing with no surprise charges. Basic diagnostic visits may include a standard service fee, which gets credited toward your repair cost if you decide to move forward with our services.
How do I know whether to repair or replace my water heater?
If your water heater is less than 8-10 years old and has a minor issue (such as a faulty thermostat or heating element), repairing it is typically the better choice. However, if the unit is older than 10-12 years, leaking from the tank, or breaking down repeatedly, replacing it is usually more economical in the long run.
Should I upgrade to a tankless water heater?
Tankless units deliver continuous hot water on demand and require far less space than conventional tank models. They're also about 30% more energy-efficient, although they come with a higher initial installation expense. We can evaluate your home to determine whether a tankless system makes sense for you.
What should I do if water is backing up in my sinks or shower?
Shut off the main water supply or the affected valve right away to avoid overflow. Don't use chemical drain cleaners, since harsh chemicals can damage your pipes and create safety risks during mechanical clearing. Contact us to remove the blockage safely using professional tools.
Can Capital Plumbing install or repair gas lines?
Yes. We're licensed to handle gas piping for both residential and commercial properties, including stoves, water heaters, boiler conversions, outdoor fire features, and backup generators, all in strict compliance with Connecticut safety regulations.
At what point in a bathroom or kitchen remodel should the plumber come in?
Plumbing work generally occurs in two stages:
Rough-in phase: Completed after demolition and framing but before drywall or tile installation. We reroute pipes and establish connections.
Trim-out phase: Completed after tile, cabinetry, and painting are finished. We install and connect your fixtures such as faucets, toilets, and sinks.
Do you pull the necessary permits for major plumbing and remodeling projects?
Yes. We handle all permitting with your local Connecticut building department so that every aspect of the work complies with municipal regulations and passes official inspections.
What codes and standards govern medical gas system installations?
Medical gas installations in the United States must follow NFPA 99 (Health Care Facilities Code), NFPA 55 (Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids Code), and CGA (Compressed Gas Association) standards. State health department requirements and local municipal codes also apply.
