  We needed a diagnosis test for our central AC. Modern came and did a very good job at testing and explaining what’s needed and what to keep an eye on for. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend for anyone looking for HVAC related services or work.

  Can't say enough good things about this company — and especially their tech, Vic. After my American Standard heat pump system was installed, I had a feeling it wasn't running quite right: it felt like it was short-cycling and the humidity was never where I wanted it. I reached out and they sent Vic out to take a look. The guy is the real deal. He went through the entire system top to bottom — measured the static pressure and airflow and found the blower had been left set way too high (around 2,000 CFM when it should've been closer to 1,400). He corrected the airflow, reconfigured the two-stage staging through the zone board so it holds low stage the way it should, and confirmed the refrigerant charge was dead-on. He even caught a small gas-line connection that needed re-sealing that I never would've known about, and fixed it on the spot. Best part: he explained every step as he went — no smoke and mirrors, just straight, honest answers. The system ran flawlessly through the recent heat wave — cool, dry, and quiet the whole time. Vic's a veteran and a true pro who clearly takes pride in doing it right. Thank you, Vic!
