  River's Edge Home Center gets my strongest recommendation. This is a family owned and operated business and all the different parts of renovation, from plumbing to carpentry to tiling to electric are managed by this fabulous team. The employees who are NOT family are treated like family, and this is important because they feel valued and as a result they work endlessly with superior skill. Every member of the crew who installed our new kitchen and shower was respectful and hard working. They cleaned up each and every day. When a situation arose and my husband needed surgery we put a request in to "finish up" our work and they completed everything to perfection. From sales to design to renovation, this business is a class act. They listen to you, pay attention to what you are thinking, honor old homes and masterfully work with both old and new homes--each with their own unique issues. We have an old home so nothing is "level" and River's Edge knew just what to do. When we had ideas that were NOT good, they educated us and gave us options. We followed their expertise and we're so happy we did! They also listen to your budget and present options so that you can choose the products and extensiveness of your project to fit the price you are comfortable with. There's no pressure with River's Edge...they really care about what you want and they guide you with advice by giving you options and information. River's Edge is essentially a business that matches the characteristics of the family and employees who work here--it's of integrity, excellence, responsiveness, and respect. I love this "team"--it seemed like true family when they were here each day working. I miss them, and no matter what project we decide to conquer in the future, River's Edge will be my only choice. We did a lot of research prior to contracting with River's Edge and they are not only the best, but the only company I can recommend. I'm so thankful for each and every member of the River's Edge team and commend them for superb communication, ethics, skill, workmanship, value, education, and service.

  Louie and his 2 man installation crew were excellent to deal with. I was looking to extend an existing installation done by a different installer. He purchased several boxes that were a perfect match (dye lot) and his crew did the install in 1 day. I was included in how the stair nose ends would be finished, but after they left realized the color was off. Louie worked with the supplier, discovered a mis-ship, got in the correct stair nose and sent his crew back out to correct the install which required relaying part of the floor. The process took some time, but the job was done correctly, including clean up. I will phone them again on my next flooring project!

  Excellent work on our kitchen remodel and backsplash. Quality craftsmanship and great service. Very happy with the results! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to update their home.
