  Now that I’ve discovered and used Bartholomew Electric, I would never hire anyone else. The women in the office keeping it all together--Cory, Candi (electric), Danielle (generator) are all extremely knowledgeable, helpful and easy to talk to. There’s none of this waiting days for an electrician to call back. I’ve worked with a few of the electricians at Bartholomew: Phil, Dan and Scott. Plus, Alex for the generator. All were exceptional. Most recently Dan did work in the cellar and was a gem—personable, helpful, thorough and patient. He took the time to explain anything I asked about. Working with Phil in the past, I was pleased that he questioned the color of a wall switch for a fixture I’d selected and rather than using it he took the time to reach out to Candi with images and she in turn reached out to me (I wasn’t at home at the time) so I was able to change the color of the switch. Other electricians would have just slapped it on and gone on their way. The third electrician I’ve worked with, Scott, made a few suggestions for my home (things I knew nothing about) which I very much appreciated. Alex installed a generator and was also helpful, patient -- explaining everything. This is what makes Bartholomew a stand out company--they excel at customer service, they care about the work, they’re neat, careful; they’re patient with clients and want their customers to be satisfied.

  Since installing a Kohler generator, we have had nothing but premium service from Bartholomew's office & staff. Danielle keeps everything humming in the office, and each tech, a master. Thanks, too, Scott, for not increasing the price of tune ups in these turbulent times. Appreciated!!

  Outstanding response and service!! A big shout out to Danielle & Todd. Danielle took my call immediately in advance of the biggest snow storm so far this season - our Kohler generator wasn't kicking over. Danielle was able to connect with Todd who happened to be on the road for a service call but in the vicinity. Todd stopped by within 30 minutes of my call - how often do you get service like that!? He immediately diagnosed the issue and had the generator running in less than 5 minutes with a software update. Todd knows his way around an engine and is very experienced with Kohler equipment. What an outstanding company. Thank you Danielle & Todd!

  BARTHOLOMEW ELECTRIC installed a Kohler generator for my home. They went over and above in every aspect of the installation. Todd Smith patiently answered all of my many questions in detail, and helped me to stay within my budget and to decide on the appropriate size generator and complete system for my home and my needs. Todd and his assistant Danielle are able to monitor the system online 24/7 so if a problem occurs they will immediately contact me and send a technician out to assess and resolve it. The generator kicks on once a week for a 15 minute run which they monitor as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Bartholomew Electric for generator installation. If and when I have need of electrical work I would not hesitate to call this company with its highly skilled, professional, accommodating and friendly service.

  Bartholomew Electric is by far one of the best small town electric companies out there. They can do large commercial, residential, generators, low-voltage, alarms, audio, you name it they can do it.
