  I signed up for a maintenance plan with Carmine’s three months ago and it’s been a frustrating experience from the start. My initial appointment was rescheduled three times. The dispatch service they use now made things worse - communication was unreliable and it felt like no one was tracking my case. The last straw was a cancellation at 11:46 AM during my scheduled 8 AM to 12 PM service window, after I’d waited nearly the entire time. That kind of last-minute cancellation, especially that late into the window, is completely unprofessional. When I raised concerns, customer service didn’t seem to take the inconvenience seriously. I ended up canceling my contract and requesting a full refund. If you’re considering signing up, I’d urge caution based on my experience - three months and I never even got the service I paid for.

  I had a leak on the ceiling, called local plumber who came after 3 days , did some work but the leak continued. I found Carmine’s plumbing , they have 45 years of experience. Tim and Christian came the same day , figured out the problem which was not easy to find . They are very knowledgeable and professional, explained the issue and fixed it. The price is reasonable, no games. I even signed up for their yearly service. From now on, I will only call Carmine’s. I rarely write reviews but I felt I should write the review to let everyone know my experience. From now on , I don’t have to worry about any plumbing issues because I know who should I call. Great job!

  We were members of Carmine’s for 6 years. Never had an issue. We just asked for a refund to our maintenance contract from GEM. They were supposed to contact us to schedule a maintenance appt for our AC. I called today and they told me they didn’t have anything till the end of July. We paid for the service. They never contacted us and then told us that’s all they had. Keith was nasty on the phone and was more than happy to refund us our maintenance agreement price of $247. Don’t go here. The friendly service of Carmine’s is no more. Go somewhere else. They’ve also upped all of their prices. They don’t care about customer service. Go elsewhere. Customers of Carmines’s will soon see the difference.

  I can’t say enough good things about Timothy Shute from GEM Plumbing and Heating. When my 50 gallon water heater suddenly failed and flooded my basement. I called Carmines and Timothy arrived very quickly. From the moment he arrived. He was professional knowledgeable, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. Timothy throughly assess the problem, clearly explained what had happened and walked me through each step of the replacement process he answered all of my questions with patience and kept me informed from start to finish, so I’ve always knew what to expect What impressed me most was hoe efficiently he worked Within just a few hours, he had removed the failed water heater and installed a brand new one and made sure everything was working properly. He also took the extra step of vacuuming the water from the affected areas to help minimize for the damage dried it and placed fans, which are greatly appreciated Timothy‘s professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service turned a stressful emergency into a smooth experience. If you need a plumber, who is responsive, skilled, and genuinely cares about his customers. I highly recommend Timothy Shute and the team at GEM plumbing and heating. Thank you for the exceptional service.!

  A special thank you to Jordan, the technician who serviced our unit from GEM’S/CARMINES plumbing and heating HVAC services. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue. Jordan clearly explained what was wrong, what needed to be done, and answered all of our questions. Most importantly, he was able to quickly repair and restore our air conditioning during an extremely hot stretch of weather. Jordan's professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. Thanks to him, our system is running perfectly again. We highly recommend GRM’S/Carmines services.
