  Rick and Erik did a very thorough energy audit for me today. They were extremely thorough and professional. I learned that I needed to use a different size furnace filter for more efficiency. They added weatherstripping where needed and advised me that my furnace was 18 years old and I should be considering a new furnace in the near future. I am a very satisfied customer.

  Excellent work! The crew arrived on time. Joe, John and Kevin are very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly! What a great crew! They answered all my questions and Our insulation process went smoothly and our whole house is completely insulated! They worked efficiently, and throughly completed the job. They cleaned up everything also! We are very pleased and highly recommended!

  I want to recognize Pat, a technician from Hitchcock, for providing exceptional customer service. From the moment he arrived, he was kind, patient, respectful, and professional. He made me feel completely comfortable asking any questions I had and never made me feel rushed. Instead, he took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood what was being done and why. Employees like Pat are a true asset to any company. He represents Hitchcock exceptionally well through his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I truly appreciate the positive experience he provided and would be happy to have him back for any future service.

  I asked F.F. Hitchcock to come to look at a toilet. They charged me $115 for the visit and told me if they installed the toilet, it would be $1340 or $534 if I supplied the toilet myself. I can't understand the good reviews. I think their prices are completely outrageous.

  If you're an average parent like me with minimal plumbing knowledge, and want to be overcharged and have to spend the next couple of months paying off the extra cost of a service that should've been 60% cheaper...go with this company. We had what I now learned from a non-local family friend was a simple backflow preventer failure. The friend ballparked it around $500-600 max, and that was with up to 2 hours of time taken. This company charged me $1300 for an hour of time with a single part being replaced. Similar parts are available online for $150 (and I assume they get parts even cheaper). My family is leaving town this weekend and I wanted to ensure this got fixed (but it was not an emergency call), so I didn't take time to vet out other contractors. I regret that, and have learned my lesson. Thanks F.F. Hitchcock. The Tech who visited was professional / explained things well. I'm not sure who sets the price, so if he had nothing to do with it, then this feedback should strictly go against F.F. Hitchcock's pricing structure. I reached out to F.F. Hitchcock a couple of hours after the service was performed, but so far have not received a response 2 days later. Do yourself a favor, find another company to service your plumbing / hvac.
