  These guys are the best chimney company you will find! They are a smaller company that has that personal touch and actually cares about their clients. I have an old field stone chimney that 6 other different companies came to look at before I was lucky enough to find Eli and his crew. Every other company gave outrageous prices or wanted to rip the fieldstone chimney down for brick. EJ chimney reasonably lined my chimney with a code approved thermocrete liner that other companies don’t even have the license to apply. Since then I’ve used them to point my chimney on the exterior and interior of the house (most other companies won’t even call you back if you requested this) along with cleanings. They did magnificent work, Kevin or Eli are usually at my jobs and they are great! Are you sick of contractors making false promises, ditching your job at the end, or trashing your yard while they work there? I strongly encourage you to try this company! Polite, honest, people that are hard working straight shooters. I cannot say enough great things!

  This summer I finally decided to clean the chimney in my house after living in my home for the last four years. I was expecting bad news but not to the degree that it came. Not only was my masonry work compromised, but the liner of the chimney on my furnace side was also missing. My first quote was from the guys that cleaned the chimney and the estimate that they provided for the liner and masonry work was almost 5 figures. They convinced me that it was the best price around and honestly pressured me to sign on the spot. The estimate that they provided was not at all in my budget, however, so I declined. I had a few referrals from friends after that, who were no shows so I was honestly feeling pretty hopeless the day I called EJ Chimney. First of all, I was glad that I was able to reach an actual person, who was knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment either. He showed up at the agreed upon time (no window) looked at the scope of the work that was involved and provided me with a detailed estimate, which was a fraction of the original estimate. Eli was very professional, listened to my concerns and I felt very comfortable around him and with the information that he provided. I am a female who is the sole decision maker for my property so my comfort level with contractors matters. I hired him! His crew showed up on the date and time as agreed and they completed the scope of the work on the same day. They were fast, clean, courteous and friendly and maintained a safe working environment. I am really glad that I reached him when I did. Now my chimney is safe and I can look forward to winter.

  Eli was by far the most courteous, thorough, and well-priced bid we received for the chimney work we needed done. I had 3 other companies come out, and only Eli took the time to really listen, and investigate the issues. His bid was fair and detailed, and I felt totally confident scheduling the work. Come work day, my confidence was confirmed as he and one other employee diligently repaired our damaged chimney throughout the day, keeping me informed and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I highly recommend EJ Chimney!
