  I am so beyond frustrated but I am going to try and leave as unbiased opinion as possible. Firstly I wanted to say that Hugo Nunez was great. He fixed the issues another plumber made. He was kind, orderly and quick. However I do not think I will use this company again if I ever have a choice. We bought an older home that has had ongoing plumbing issues for over a year. The initial plumber at Benjamin Franklin was wonderful so when our plumbing started acting up again a year later we said let’s call them they were good. (They were not) When I called to schedule that floor drain backing up and needed someone to check it out, they initially sent a guy telling him our kitchen sink was clogged and so he didn’t have the right tools. When I called and said hey we need someone now they told us they couldn’t get anyone scheduled. After putting up a fuss they were able to send the supervisor, Christian Koff. Christian told us we had a collapsed pipe and trenching and needed our entire pipes replaced. We knew this was a big ordeal but had no other choice but to get it done. When the day came for them to repair things, 2 other technicians came out without Christian. Christian had told us he’s be there to make sure everything was going well. The two plumbers stated they were just replacing a floor drain and an elbow joint. We immediately called Christian saying hey that is not what you said, you said because of the trenching and collapsed pipe we needed the whole system replaced. Christian said oh no it’s the same thing they’re just using different wording. And hour or two later Christian calls my husband and says hey your drains are really bad but we didn’t do financing to replace the whole piping just the floor drain and elbow joint (this cost $6000 by the way) I was immediately furious because we literally just called to ask him if we were on the same page. Oh by the way apparently after a scoping no done by the technician, it was just a clog not a collapsed pipe and no trenching. We haven’t been able to live in our house for 5 weeks because sewage flooded our floors so when we finally move back in we call Benjamin Franklin plumbing to install our hot water heater that had been taken out for the repairs and to turn on the water. Lo and behold Christian is our technician. When I found this out I hid in the garage all day because I am so frustrated with him I did not want to say something I regretted to him. My husband said that Christian put in the hot water heater and said oh I forgot the pan do you want me to do that? And my husband said yes, per Colorado state law if a hot water heater is on a living floor it has to have the pan. So Christian does it and leaves finally. I come back inside and notice that our hot water heater is leaking. Also our hot water heater was sitting on the lip of the pan, crushing it and making our hot water heater come out on an angle which I suspect was the leak. So we call good ole Benjamin Franklin again they get Christian scheduled to come out the next day between 2-6. Well it’s 6:30 and we’re waiting without a word my husband calls and no one knows why no one showed up or let us know. My husband stated that we do not want to work with Christian again and if he comes to the house he’ll send him away So enters Hugo. Who fixed our problem so efficiently and made me want to use only him

  Needed a floor drain snaked and a valve replaced on a supply line to our sink and dishwasher. The plumber, Hugo, was courteous and took great care as our plumbing infrastructure is older. Was more than we wanted to pay, but we were able to get an immediate appointment on a Sunday afternoon that saved the day.

  They did such a good job. They communicated there ETA. They arrived when they said they would. They worked hard all day. They walked us through the warranty process, advising us if the numbers we needed to keep track of. Before leaving, they explained how things were supposed to go work. Very helpful

  Hugo Nuñez did an excellent job installing our new kitchen faucet. He was thorough and professional from start to finish, he shut off the main water supply, replaced the old emergency shut-off valves for both the hot and cold lines with new straight stops, and carefully connected everything to the new faucet. What really stood out was how methodical he was about testing for leaks along the way. He checked the water flow and connections multiple times throughout the job, not just at the end, to make sure everything was working properly before considering the job done. Once finished, he walked us through everything, showed us the water was flowing correctly, and confirmed there were no leaks or drips anywhere. It's clear Hugo takes pride in doing the job right. Highly recommend him for any plumbing work!

  This was our first experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and it was an excellent one! Master Plumber Ilija Kostadinov arrived right on time, was friendly from the moment he walked in, and even passed the pet test—our animals liked him immediately, and he was completely comfortable having them around. Ilija thoroughly inspected our faucets, valves, and pipes, then clearly explained what needed attention, why the repairs were recommended, and what our options were. When I mentioned an additional toilet issue, he had no problem jumping right in and taking care of it. Ilija will be returning to review his recommendations with us and has been incredibly accommodating while working around our complicated schedules. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and easy to trust. We would give Ilija a 5-plus-star rating without hesitation. We highly recommend working with Ilija Kostadinov—a true professional!
