BEWARE! I spent nearly 40k with this company, this review will be long. Facts are important. I'll start with the "minor" issue first. We had a bathroom faucet that was leaking (his & hers), so the water was turned off for weeks as there was another sink to use. I called them out to take a look. They turned the water on to test it, didn't fix it and left the water on with an active leak. I only noticed when water was leaking through the ceiling. To the T was adamant that the techs didn't leave it on. It's not a fact that could be argued. It had been off for weeks, they turned it on and left it leaking. They were extremely arrogant and defiant rather than just saying it was an honest mistake. The bigger issue was the furnace they installed. They upsold me on a system that was way too large for our house and duct work. Even on the lowest setting, it could not push enough air out, so after about 2 years we woke up to smoke in the house. The blower motor had burnt up. After about a week (even though I paid for expedited shipping) they came out and replaced the blower motor. The tech noted how extremely odd it was that after only two years the motor burnt up. No further inspection of the system, they replaced it and left. 2 years later, guess what happened again? The blower burnt up. At this point it was obvious that To the T could not be trusted. After having 3 other HVAC companies out to inspect it, it became clear that the system was too large and that To the T either out of pure deception or incompetence sold us an incompatible system. What has come to light is that To the T failed to perform multiple basic installation actions. They didn't do a static pressure test on the old unit, or after to configure or at least verify the new furnace. You have to drill holes into the side and insert sensors on both the return and output to make sure the static pressure is within the furnace specs. The other HVAC companies noted there were no holes drilled, so they know it was not done. I reached out to the city who confirmed they did also not pull permits for the work. It was also immediately clear to the other companies that the furnace was too large when seeing and listening to the air return. It was extremely loud, an immediate indication that it was not able to suck in as much air as it was trying to/needed to to operate. So 4 years after To the T installed a brand new furnace I had to have a legitimate company tear it out and install a properly sized one. Unsurprisingly, To the T ignored my emails (with pictures/proof). I took them to Small Claims court where they would rather pay for a lawyer than take pride or stand behind their company's work. This is a company that takes short cuts and leaves you hanging when those short cuts inevitably have consequences. Learn from my mistake and go with another HVAC company that takes pride in their work and takes care of their customers. I don't know if they are simply incompetent or actively scamming their customers. Take the fact that they didn't even bother to pull a permit and make up your own mind. In the attached images you can see the city confirming they didn't pull a permit, the second burnt up motor, and the static pressure test that the other HVAC company ran on the system, confirming it was not operating within the furnace specs. All of these were provided to To the T and ignored.

They told me $60 to come to my house and check out a thermostat problem. Technician gets here, put an ipad in my face to sign for $250 to even start diagnosing a problem (which does not go towards a repair). I paid $60 for them to drive to my house to simply demand more money to even start doing something...

(Updated review) We hired To the T for a $26k sewer replacement. While the issues have finally been resolved, the process was incredibly difficult. Initially, the work was done by unsupervised subcontractors without the required permits. After these issues were caught, the company did step up to make it right, though it required them digging up our basement a second time to satisfy City of Aurora inspectors. The Good: They eventually pulled permits, corrected issues with the grading, and had a supervisor on-site for the repairs. They also provided a 5-year parts/1-year labor warranty upon completion. The Bad: The project caused an additional two-week loss of a bathroom (significant for our home-based business and family) and required extra time off work to manage the re-do. Their warranty is significantly shorter than the 10-20 years offered by competitors, which remains a concern given the $26k investment. Summary: They will finish the job, but you should be prepared to verify permits are being pulled (if necessary) and taking the time to understand what the scope of work should entail to ensure it’s done to code. For us, this is nothing we have had to deal with before, so "does it look good" is just a matter of opinion without the knowledge of it is is or is not good. For the final inspection, we did appreciate the owners came on-site to walk us through what was done, verify the work themselves and run a new video to show everything operational as expected and help to explain how it SHOULD look, so the question of "is it good" was able to be better answered. While we do not feel it was a 5-star worthy experience overall, we are updating the review for a 3.5 to reflect that they DID resolve the issues that were brought to their attention; however, it should have been done right the 1st time.

The price changed for them to diagnose the issue. I paid "To the T Plumbing Heating" anyways to kindly get them to go away. The Airbnb guest said Technician never entered the home. So we called another AC company who was more reliable. They simply went inside the home to observe plastic was blocking the AC intake from the filter packaging. Causing the evaporator coils to freeze. Why did To the T plumbing quote $1,400 when the second company fixed it for $85?

Excellent service!!!! My furnace went out of course on a very cold day and it’s supposed to be a super cold weekend. I called. They picked up the phone when I called and came out a few hours after I called. They diagnosed the problem. It was a gas valve and fixed. It saved us from freezing and my pipes are safe! I recommend this company to everyone because they had excellent service and an honest price.
