First of all I want to say that their service is great as far as coming out and the techs are polite. I used them before for a gas leak and their solution was just replace the whole line which was going to cost over $6000, but I was needing something quick and didn't shop around. The tech came out and suggested what I wanted to do to begin with and it knocked it down to around $3500. I just recently had an issue with my Navien Combi Tankless Water Heater and called them. The unit wasn't heating on the domestic water side. The tech came out and asked if I have ever had it flushed which I haven't because it wasn't set up with the valves to do so nor did I know that it was needed. He then took the cover off the heat exchanger, looked inside and immediately said you need to replace this whole unit with a brand new one. He said it was shot because I never had it flushed. He came back with a quote for $18,500 to replace the unit. So there was no troubleshooting what so ever done to determine the root problem besides replace everything much like I was told the first time I used them. I got a second opinion and was told that I didn't need a new unit. The second contractor called tech support from my owners manual and within 10 minutes found out it was a $55 part. I replaced the part and I got hot water and not an $18,500 bill. I wouldn't recommend this company based off my experiences.
Absolute ripoff. These guys will constantly try to upsell you and fear monger you into trying pay more. Watch for the odd questions that they then turn around and try and use against you. I’ve used them twice and this was the approach both times. They’re trained to leverage whatever information you give them against you to upsell you on unnecessary upgrades and services.
They (Austin) suggested that $4000 was the “peace of mind” option, but $1200 would get our HVAC running again. “1 out of 10 chance that this doesn’t work”. Well what do you know, paid the $1200 and we just “happen” to fall in the 1 in 10. It never even worked after we paid him. So we just blew through 1200 which fixed nothing.
Go look at Yelp reviews, that will tell you everything you need to know. I’m getting more opinions on the solution to evaluate their work, I’d suggest you not listen to anything they try and sell you on and just call someone else.
Absolute thieves.

I called today, desperate, when I found part of my basement with saturated carpet. I needed a plumber fast! I called two other companies. One who was booked and the other did not respond for hours. Jim Needham company got back to me promptly and bent over backwards to send someone out as soon as possible. Darion Sanchez was the plumber who responded. He quickly ascertained that the leak was not coming from inside the house, but out in the sprinkler box! He tested his theory and was 100% correct. He is had a professional demeanor, clearly knows his business and solved my problem in a very short period of time. I am so grateful for the Jim Needham team, and I am so grateful they sent out Darion. It is so refreshing to come across a business with such a professional, experienced and helpful employees. What a gift, and on my birthday!!!

It’s refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares about doing quality work. Dustin was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was going on, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I understood everything before moving forward.
You can tell he takes pride in his work and values doing things the right way instead of the easy way. He was efficient, respectful of my home, and left everything spotless when he was finished.
Customer service like this is becoming harder and harder to find, and Dustin absolutely deserves the recognition. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Jim Needham again, and I’ll specifically be asking for Dustin. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

BEWARE OF OVERCHARGING!
My 4 year old AC needed a new blower motor. The tech, Austin, contacted Carrier and confirmed the part was still under warranty and they had a replacement in stock. At the end of the job I was charged $2,239!!!!
I didn’t receive any automated email receipt/warranty info after the tech left, so I called Needham a day or two later and the receptionist said she could only* email me a receipt for the total and wasn’t able to give me an itemized invoice or explain why I was charged so much or any warranty information for my records (big red flag!) She said she needed to talk to a manager and would call me back and I haven’t heard from them since.
I also found the constant upselling attempts really annoying and time-consuming…the tech would go away for a several minutes with his tablet and would come back to present me with his pitch and various quotes to include special filters or their annual membership add-on, or a special discount to get me to bite…really disappointing customer experience, and sleazy price juggling sales tactics!
