    I had a problem with my furnace. I also needed a gas line to my stove. The technician disassembled a switch (2 screws) pulled a fuse out put the same fuse back in. 15 - 20 minutes. Running a gas line to my stove. (3 pieces of pipe, 1 flex hose, 1 nipple, 2 elbows, 2 tees, 1 valve, and pipe dope on all connections.) They billed me 3.5 hours, just for these connections. He also had use my hole saw and one of my saws to get the job done. He had to make an extra trip to the shop, because he didn’t grab the right parts. I also helped him through this process. He wasn’t able to do it by himself. I was charged 5.5 hours for this job. What is my tool rental and my time worth.
