  The lady behind the drive thru was rude and ignored the question I had on the coupons. She was cold and unhelpful when I got my food it was fine but the staff could use a bit less attitude when helping customers.

  1) THE COMPANY: One-Hour Heating and Air Conditioning really did respond within an hour later that evening. Greg promptly arrived the next morning to evaluate and replace our fan motor. When subsequent carbon monoxide readings were marginal, we opted to replace our HVAC system. 2) INSTALLATION TEAM: Brody, Victor and Jahvonie made a good team and were knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. They stayed until 9PM to complete the project. Jim returned a couple days later to finalize the installation, but left without cleaning up PVC shavings both on top of and inside the control panels. 3) THE PRODUCT: This is our first heat pump and we really like that it is so quiet. We selected an Amana to get a non-rusting heat exchanger. We were grateful to get a $6700 rebate for the high-efficiency heat pump plus a no-interest 2-year loan. 4) AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: We would have liked much more detail about what we were ordering. We never received any breakout of costs, the invoice didn't identify the exact model installed, and we didn't even get an owners manual. A subsequent comparison of competing models and companies was thus difficult, but indicates that we paid more than competitors. Another result of insufficient detail was that we didn't know local inspection costs and taxes had already been covered, thus needlessly paid again upon receiving a city billing. While doing that, we asked about the inspection, scheduled one, then failed it upon discovering the circuit breaker wasn't matched to the load. We still don't know if the rebate request has been submitted or not, so office communications leave something to be desired. 5) BOTTOM LINE: We are pleased with the prompt installation and quality of our heat pump, but as seniors with limited resources, we suspect we paid a premium for what we received.

  Two stars because Tyler is genuinely a nice guy, but he’s obviously very green and maybe not the best person to be quoting a $3100 job that a) was very overpriced for what it was and b) wasn’t necessary. I got a second opinion from Allen Services from an experienced guy who told me my only problem was a filthy condenser. Only charged me an $89 call-out. So I don’t know how many other people are quoted overpriced and unnecessary repairs by One Hour, but there you go.

  Contacted Mr. Sparky due to a wire melting and knocking out power in multiple parts of the home. AJ Hendrickson came out to review our situation. AJ was very professional and communicated clearly about process for diagnostics and costs. After AJ resolved our electrical concerns, he shared a membership program that provides a wide range of services. Additionally, the membership decreased our bill for the work of the day. Lastly, we requested quotes on multiple options for improving efficiency. AJ delivered the quotes quickly and inn the same day. We recommend Mr. Sparky and AJ Hendrickson for your electrical needs. They will offer a personable interaction, professionalism and no surprise billing.
