  Lorenzo Colon and Chris W came to the house today to install a new heating system, and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish Basset had been easy to work with and we will be using them for future home projects. Lorenzo and Chris were incredibly polite and helpful in answering our questions and walked us through the entire process.

  Recently I had a very good experience with Basset Plumbing and employee Benjamin Weiss. One night last weekend I discovered a leak in my pressure regulator in my crawlspace. On Monday I tried to find someone who could help me with my problem but was having no luck until I called Basset. Thank goodness Benjamin was able to work me in. He not only fixed it but cleaned up plumbing parts left by others. Ben is very professional, knowledgeable and works quickly. It was a relief to have someone sympathetic to my situation and able to get things back to normal. I have already recommended Basset and Ben to family and friends.

  Tristan and the team at Basset took care of me with the new AC unit. They also did some much needed electrical work that was long over due. The team communicated throughout the entire process keeping me informed. I will be sure to return to basset for my home needs!

  I wish I could give 6 stars. I shopped around last year and this year again. Other companies literally doubled their price. Basset gave me almost the same price! But the real winner is the absolute CARE they gave. After AC install my house lost all power due to some bad work by previous licensed electricians. But who was out there till 2 in the morning, and again bright and early the next day until everything, even though it wasn't their fault, was satisfactory? Basset Home Services. I want to personally thank Dante, Elon, Donnie, Ashley and everyone at the office who absolutely came together (I wish I could name you all that I talked with on the phone!). It's good to know that things go really well when you choose Basset, but it's especially good to know who to choose when things sometimes go wrong: Basset was amazing. Communication, care for the home owner, and going ABOVE and beyond in a difficult situation - I was VERY impressed with their work AND their prices. Oh, they also have after hours phone service with a real human, and did I mention amazing prices? I can attest that Basset absolutely SHONE in a tough situation. Even if I lived in Denver or Boston, I would still want Basset Home services to come out. We need more companies like this one! I want to add - all that care was AFTER full payment was made. This company won't drop you after payment. I lucked out finding Basset Home Services, don't pass them up!

  I had previously left a 5-star review last week; however, unfortunately our experience has changed over the past few days. First, I want to emphasize that all 3 technicians who have come to our home have been extremely kind, professional, and courteous. They provided great customer service, and this review is not a reflection of them personally. Our concerns began with a scheduling mix-up. I called the office to clarify whether I needed to be home for the appointment since the date differed from what I had originally noted in my calendar. I was told I would receive a call back to confirm whether access inside the home would be required. Unfortunately, I never received that callback. As a result, I had to rearrange other obligations to ensure I was home, just in case entry was needed. Today’s appointment was scheduled for a roof vent inspection to ensure there were no draft issues affecting our hot water heater. However, when the technician arrived, he stated that the vent needed to be replaced due to signs of melting at the top of the water heater, indicating possible drafting issues. This conclusion was made without first inspecting the roof vent itself. I was surprised this was not identified during last week’s visit, and it felt as though replacement was recommended before a full inspection was completed, which was the original purpose of the service call was to have it inspected. Additionally, when we signed up for the 1-year service plan, I specifically asked that my credit card not be saved on file. I was later informed that it had been saved despite my request. I also did not sign any documents at the time of enrollment and was told they would be emailed to me for review. It has now been a week and I have not received that paperwork. I received email from Bassett but there’s no documents. Given these issues, I am concerned about potential automatic renewal charges in the future, as I am unsure whether we would choose to renew after the initial year. I truly appreciate the professionalism of the technicians who have come to our home, but I hope the company can improve communication, follow-through, and transparency regarding billing practices. Additional review 6/24/2026- we had a spigot replaced and they did it wrong. Had to have them come back, and they have still yet to fix it and it’s been a week. We were told someone would call us to schedule, but still have not received a call. It should have been done correctly the first time, so this is frustrating. Will not renew our membership.
