Just completed a positive experience with this company with a complete system replacement. Started with Randy in sales who didn't try to baffle me with BS, charge me for things I didn't need or upsell me as others had. He answered all my questions and concerns and presented me with a straightforward bid with options. Pricing was competitive and half the cost of one crooked company who gave me a "bid". Install was done by Jared and Scott who put up with all my questions and looking over their shoulder. Always courteous and took pains to not make any bigger mess than necessary. Very nice guys. Quality of workmanship appeared excellent with attention to detail. Peter came by today for their quality control inspection. Peter was very informative, checked and adjusted the system for almost 3 hours to ensure it was operating as intended, answered all my questions and gave me some excellent tips for operating the system under different conditions to maintain its efficiency. Excellent buying experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Fort Collins Heating and Air.

Marshall was absolutely outstanding, with a capital “O.” He called ahead of time and gave me a time estimate of his arrival. He went right to work, explaining everything as he was going along. Some customers may not like that; I absolutely think it is awesome. He was not distracted by a question, he wanted to ensure my satisfaction all along the way. He finished, cleaned up, asked if I had any questions and took the time to explain the invoice. During the entire customer experience I believe Marshall was building a relationship with me. I value that skill very much. This will be the only company I use for our townhome in Greeley. Marshall has my vote for the next available promotion or salary treatment.

I contacted a few companies when we found water backed up in our basement from a broken (offset) drainage pipe. Although all of them were confident they could fix the problem, none were able to confidently give us an accurate estimate due to a variety of reasons: one didn't own the equipment necessary to accurately identify the problem - we would need to contact another company to do that. Another didn't bring the equipment with them on the first visit, had to come back another day. Another took over a week to give us an estimate and only after I had called back to remind them.
Chuck showed up with everything he needed on the first day, explained his findings, provided the estimate, and fixed another minor issue for us, all on that first day.
Once we had decided to proceed with Fort Collins Heating and Air Conditioning, they were able to schedule the repairs within a week and completed them in one day, even though they discovered a second break farther down the same pipe (no one was able to get a camera past the first break on the initial inspection).
Repairing the drainage pipe required digging a pit in our lawn (with a sprinkler system) that was about 15 feet deep, near a large tree, and required moving a concrete pathway - all of which they did without causing any damage and any significant changes to the lawn. Everyone I interacted with (sorry I don't remember all their names!) was extremely polite and friendly. The only thing I regret about the whole situation is that they weren't the first company I contacted, but they'll definitely be the first ones I reach out to if I ever need help again in the future.

Shaun C. is a kind, friendly, and respectful technician. He was able to get my A/C back up and running. We had a buildup that caused the unit to leak. We had standing water in the basement. I appreciate him taking the time to explain what was going on and willing to answer any questions I had. We got on the phone with a contractor to have them come out to check for water damage. The contractor is coming out next day in the morning. He also gave me the name of a handyman. Shaun went above and beyond and I am very grateful.

We received excellent service from FCH&A - we hired them to install a heat pump and furnace system in our house and from Chris who sold us the system, to Sam and Travis who installed it, over to Josh who oversaw the install and supported the techs, to Hailey who handled the rebate submittals, this was an excellent experience. Sam stayed an extra 3 or so hours on the first day just to get the system pressurized so we had AC after having been without for about 5 weeks. They came on a Saturday to finish the job, they scheduled city inspections for us, and best of all were generally just nice people. These guys demonstrated work ethic and consideration for my house and my family, and I could not have been more please with the experience with FCH&A, from tip to tail. Highly recommend. (This is an unsolicited review - I really suggest getting a bid from this company for your HVAC needs, they provided an tremendous experience for us and I expect they'll do the same for you)
