  Nathan York from Allen Service arrived to diagnose a leak coming from my air conditioner panel. He found one problem that would require a pump to be delivered the following day and also found some crossed wires. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, conscientious, and unusually hard-working. He got the A/C operating, saving me a trip to buy a fan. With technicians like him, Allen Service is a more than reliable company!

  I had received bad information from another plumbing company who wanted to charge me almost $7,000. I called Allen Service for a second opinion. (Jeff and I were classmates in High school). Brian came to the house Diagnosed the issues, told me what he could do, showed me the issue in real time, and how much it would cost. It was late Friday afternoon and we were without kitchen sink, dishwasher, and clothes washer. Brian did not want us to have to wait all weekend, so he made a call and within an hour he and Mason showed up and took care of the clog in around and hour and a half. Mason and Brian explained the process as they were jetting the clog and showed me the clean drain. They saved me aprox. $5,000 that I would have spent on an un needed repair.

  Jonathan was very polite, very professional yep, friendly. He gave me a step-by-step instruction what he was doing how everything was gonna work what I could expect. He did everything that he said he was gonna do to the best of my knowledge. no fault of his own he was unable to complete the job because of a faulty part from the parts store. Again, he explained everything to me what the next steps were gonna be. He also indicated that He put me on the schedule for the next workday and when I could expect to see them to come back and finish the work. Jonathan was great to work with..

  Our A/C unit wasn’t working so we called them to look at it. When a person showed up they said it was just dirty and wanted to schedule a time the following week to fix it. When I said this wouldn’t work because we cannot go without a/c that long they then said they had time the next day. When the second person came he spent about an hour cleaning the unit, left without verifying it was working (which it wasn’t) and left a puddle of water in the basement without cleaning it up. We had a third person show up today and took him 5 mins to notice the air wasn’t cold enough and determined it needs refrigerant, but he wasn’t qualified to do the repair. He said he would try to get someone out here today, but we waited all day, and no one called or showed up. We are currently waiting on the fourth person to come to the house to make the repair and have no idea when they are coming. I have had them replace our furnace , water heater, and repair the a/c unit in the past and never had an issues so I am very disappointed in with this expierence.

  Horrible. Don’t use. Allen used to be great they sick now. It’s an open secret in the industry that all their good guys who were with the company for 30 years have left. They have young guys to cut their teeth and pay them purely, technicians leave as soon as they have enough experience to get a job elsewhere where. After having a nightmare experience getting a new furnace and ac installed for $11,500 Allen was able to call me twice in 2 days to collect payment but not call me to say they had scheduled the permit final. The house was vacant and no one was home to let the city inspector in. On my own I had to find out the permit was NOT finalized and that Allen hadn’t bothered to finish the job they were paid in full for. Th e city of greeley inspector told me on Friday 7/24/26 Allen had called in for 4 final permit inspections and NO ONE was at any of the jobs. What a waste of public time and resources. To top it off the final inspection failed to meet code so I will have to deal with these num nuts to fix their failures and go meet the city inspector again and hope they’re barely competent enough to pass inspection. Save your selves the headache. This company is a mess. Go elsewhere.
