  All the research I’ve seen shows that duct cleaning takes 4 to 6 hours. On the minimum side it takes 2 to 4 hours. They spent one hour doing it. They seem knowledgeable and answered some questions I had. I’m not knowledgeable of duct and HVAC cleaning, so I’m not sure how I would confirm if a proper job was done or if I paid the appropriate amount for the time required. I also did not see them go outside to check on where the ducts Leave the home, they also did not check the attic which I was told would be done when I Received the quote.

  I would highlybreccond Tyler from AllenPlumbing & Heating for any plumbing issues. He spotted the problem, gave me some options and went right to work on addressing the problem. He was great at explaining what he had done and why. If he did have a question during the process that provided additional options, he didn't hesitate to check with me.   This company has offered stellar service in previous years. They recently installed a new HVAC and WH for us this year. Everything works great, but they struggled to get the system in place. The eight hour job turned into a two-day inconvenience for my tenants who spent their weekend in February without heat or water. Then the project failed inspection by the city. An apology would have been sufficient, but instead they sent us a debt collector. Allen Service, the name you know NOT to trust.

  She didn't have time to finish the testing or whatever. I had to leave to pick my kids up from school. Then she's went through photos telling this is leaking that's broken..your air ducts are very dirty they havent been cleaned...well no shit?? Then I said well it sounds like I need a new air conditioner unit?? She said I was going to go through options after the testing..its going to take 20 more mintues then she says ..so what do you want me to do? I said I need to go in 20 minutes. Then she said let me go grab my stuff. Then I asked do you guys do air duct cleaning and air conditioner replacement she's say yeah we do but I didn't get to that. Asked me if I had anymore questions...I said no. I think there was enough info gathered to just say hey..you need a new unit and your air ducts cleaned..and kept reminding me how dirty everything was. NOT MY FAULT YOU GUYS CAME OVER SO LATE. I GOT A CALL THIS MORIMOMG SAYING YOU WERE COMING IN THE MORNING. SHE DOESNT GET HERE TILL 1PM OR SO..ITS 330PM I HAVE TO GO. ITS LIKE YOU CANT GIVE ME THE SHORT ANSWER. SO I just called someone else to finish the job. Great Job Jasmine and Allen Services!

  I couldn’t be more disappointed with Allen Service. The membership program feels like a complete scam. You pay around $10 a month, but in reality, you don’t get any meaningful benefits back. For example, I needed two valves replaced. The technician quoted $650 just for labor—and this was after calling his boss to apply the so-called “membership pricing.” The job itself took less than 20 minutes and only involved unscrewing the old valves and installing new ones. If you want them to provide the materials, they charge about $400 for just two valves, which is way above what you’d expect at a fair market price. Between the inflated labor costs and overpriced materials, any supposed savings from the membership disappear instantly. If you have money to waste, go with them—but otherwise, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
