I DO NOT recommend for gas line work—major life-safety violation.
Prime Plumbing replaced a gas valve at my home but left the live appliance flex line connection completely unchecked. When I explicitly and repeatedly requested that the technician perform a safety leak test on the live fittings before leaving, he refused, claiming a leak test was "unnecessary because flexes don't leak, and he had used sealant."
Because he walked away from a live, unchecked gas line, I had to call Xcel Energy out for an emergency inspection. Xcel confirmed that a leak test is always safety-mandated for new connections.
To make matters worse, management aggressively demanded full payment ($306) for an incomplete, dangerous job, despite admitting they overheard my request for a leak test. They only adjusted the bill down after I stopped payment on the check. Incompetent, hazardous work and hostile management. Avoid them for your own safety.
UPDATE (10/12/2026): Do not let the company’s public reply mislead you. Their claim that a soapy-solution test occurred is entirely fabricated. I hold the physical yellow Xcel Energy safety tag dated 10/1/26 proving the utility company—not Prime Plumbing—had to perform the safety check after the technician drove away. Furthermore, on October 9, in direct retaliation for this truthful review, Prime Plumbing served me with a high-pressure legal Cease & Desist letter demanding its permanent removal under threat of immediate lawsuits. I refuse to be intimidated by legal bullying. The physical documentation, including Xcel's emergency logs and the company's conflicting invoices, has been safely preserved.

Had a technician come and look at an error code that kept tripping my tankless water heater. The tech came looked at the unit and the inlet and exhaust. Said he didn’t see anything wrong and just proceeded to say I needed to flush the unit and that would probably fix it. He quoted me almost 1600$ because he said it was missing some valves to properly do the flush. I declined as the unit is under warranty so I called the manufacturer. We troubleshot the issue of the inlet port filter had some build up. I washed it and replaced it and the unit works perfect. This company basically tried to steal 1600$ for nothing. This is a shame I already talked to the manager but this is a warning to all. Don’t take anyone’s word for something do your research. AI saved me 1600$ just with some simple searches and recommendations.
