Summary: New Electric, specifically Dispatcher Pedro and Master Tech Ben, worked tirelessly to ensure I could get a passed final inspection on a six (6) year old expired electrical permit on my home I was selling in Denver, and New Electric has now relocated to Vail. It came down to the day of closing, Ben woke up at 3:40am to drive from Vail to Denver, Pedro woke up at 4:00am to relay the information, they made sure the final inspection passed, it did, and closing on the home occurred that same afternoon. Hats off to New Electric for working on this issue, great technical work and keeping clients for life. Thank you. Full story below:
This story starts back in 2020 down in Denver. I was renovating a house and needed a full electrical upgrade (new main panel, wiring, outlets, new heated floor, etc). New Electric came in and was able to redo the entire house within a week, main panel, wiring throughout the house, everything working. The rough-in inspection ordered and passed, woo! All great, right? Wrong, since I was renovating the house myself, it was up to me to finish installing the cabinets, flooring, all non-electrical related items. This is because, before the final electrical inspection can be called, all the walls must be closed. This took more than a year for me to complete, and the original electrical permit expired after a year. In 2022, I finished the house and called New Electric to order the final inspection, only issue was the permit had expired so the final inspection could not be called. I did not see an issue with this, all electrical aspects of the house worked great, rough-in inspection passed, so I let the final inspection slip away. Fast forward to 2026, I am selling my home. One of the inspection objections was the final electrical inspection needed ordered and passed; no problem, I called up New Electric, which has now moved to Vail, and spoke with Pedro. Pedro is an A++ dispatcher at New Electric, he understood the task at hand and what it would take to get a final inspection for this house in time for closing. We had some issues with a rouge contractor and the state that pushed the only time we could have the final inspection to the day of closing. Ben, a master tech at New Electric, woke up at 3:40am to ensure he could get down to Denver in time to do a final check of the electrical work before the state inspector arrived to ensure we could get a pass for the final inspection, which would allow closing to go through that same afternoon. Pedro also woke up at 4:00am to let me know Ben, the master tech, was on the way since we were up against a high-risk schedule. Final inspection PASSED that morning, buyer was pleased and closed that afternoon. Hats off to New Electric for working on this issue, great technical work and keeping clients for life. Thank you.
