This is not a local owned company anymore, was bought out by a company from st Louis but still pretends its a local company. The AI bot answering machine is a joke, when you have an emergency that's the last thing you need. Sent out a kid to snake a line for me and he was clueless, literally smashed the snake into the side of my house for 20 minutes before I went out and told him how to do his job, lost the snake bit in the line so that's probably gonna be a problem down the line. Just bad and not a local company anymore

Called with an emergent problem requiring to have our lines scoped. They sent someone out without those scoping capabilities—despite previously confirming our needs. Forced the repair forward and said they’d scope later; took several days for that follow-up appointment to be booked. Scope indicated we needed a +$15k repair. Got a second opinion and was told that no repair was needed, the initial ‘repair’ photos were done very unprofessionally, and the scope was completed by someone who was not a scope/line inspector expert—likely just a repair man. They continue to follow up daily to book the ‘repair’ work despite having previously been impossible to get a hold of when we needed the line scoped ASAP.

Our repair was done professionally and on-time but it was ridiculously expensive. I didn’t have the energy to price shop. The one toilet in question needed a simple repair that ended up costing $500. For a repair, not a complete replacement! I was then told that the other two toilets were showing signs of wear, and that they could fix those as well. Total cost, $1500. I went only with the one for $500. I should have done my research first to gauge what the repair should have cost. After consulting various sources, it should have been less than half this cost. Sorry, but for smaller jobs, I will look elsewhere.

We called Blue Sky to troubleshoot our AC system that quit. They were able to get us on the schedule the next day. Our technician, Anthony, did a thorough job of diagnosing our issue, explaining our problem and options. We felt very confident in his assessment and scheduled an appointment with Oscar to go over which product would be best for a full replacement of HVAC system. No hard sell, answered all of our questions and was a pleasure to work with. The installation team, Rodney and his apprentice along with Joe the project manager were incredible from start to finish. They were extremely knowledgeable and hard working in addition to creating a safe, clean environment for their work. The electrician, Adam, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our entire experience with Blue Sky completely exceeded our expectations. Each one of the team went above and beyond and we felt very confident we made the right decision on this large investment. We heartily recommend and endorse Blue Sky.

Replace vs. Repair??🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ I scheduled a visit with Blue Sky’s Oscar to provide me with a free quote to replace my 21 year old Breeze Air evaporative cooler. While Oscar’s role isn’t “technician,” he did analyze why the evaporative cooler wasn’t doing a good job. He also communicated with his Blue Sky team to schedule an appointment with a technician to repair some minor issues and to quote the price of repairing more serious issues my evap cooler has. Rather than concluding it needed to be replaced, I appreciate that Oscar wasn’t pressing an agenda to replace rather than repair my evap cooler. When the technician (Gabe Husmann) arrived, he performed a more careful analysis of the poor cooling efficiency, including evaluation of the overall condition of my Breeze Air unit. Gabe determined that the overall condition was quite good and therefore a candidate for repair instead of replacement. More specifically, he determined that the motor needed replacing due to a bent shaft, which explained the reduced volume of air being pushed through the vents. If the “Blower” needed replacing, that would have been significantly more expensive than replacing the motor, and might have made my decision to repair rather than replace the unit, more complicated. Watching Gabe work his way through the decision tree and feeling comfortable asking him dumb questions (to which he supplied clear answers), resulted in my having strong confidence in Gabe’s analysis & recommendations. We settled on motor replacement, which was a small fraction of the cost of replacing the entire unit. Happy to report that my tenants are enjoying the cool air, wearing sweaters, and sitting in front of a roaring fireplace flame!!!🔥 😂😂 Thank You Gabe Husmann & Blue Sky Heating & Cooling! Steve B
