  It was an absolute pleasure working with the Affordable Garages team. Earl gave us a clear, easy to understand, and fair quote for a new garage and driveway. Tom managed the entire construction project and kept me informed throughout the whole process, helped brainstorm ideas for how to incorporate changes I was asking for, and kept the project on time. I have not worked with many construction crews I would recommend, but they have my full endorsement!

  We could not be happier with our new garage. Affordable Garages. They took care of everything from design to permitting, to construction and inspections. They started right away once they had permits from the city and our garage was completed in two and a half weeks. Tom is a wonderful GC, he called me every day to tell me what was happening that day, what was planned for the next day, and to answer any questions I had. The crews were friendly, considerate of our neighbors, and cleaned up after themselves. Tom, and affordable garages went above and beyond. For example, (1) when we had to have part of a fence removed to make room for the garage, Tom had a temporary fence installed within an hour. (2) Our lot was small and it was a small alley, the crews always offered to drop everything and move their truck if a neighbor wanted to drive down the alley. (3) We made a change to the door at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us on short notice (4) After I had already given them the final payment, they realized that they had forgotten to paint some trim around the door, they noticed before I did and sent someone out on a Saturday evening to touch it up. I really can't say enough positive about this company - they were the cheapest bid we got and we couldn't ask for a better garage.

  Expect a major lack of communication, cleaning up after contractors, random vehicles showing up without knowing who they are and not knocking on your door, electrical redone multiple times to pass inspection, telling them every week that I have to lock the garage due to a break in and where the spare key is and mostly just no regard for your time. Denver is in a construction boom and they can treat customers like this because they know people will still line up regardless. Its a shame

  Affordable garages was great to work with. They were professional, good at communicating, fast and efficient. They were a one stop shop in building my garage. They took care of everything from engineering, electrical, permits, cement, paint etc. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone I know.

  Two car garage project was completed well, but slowly and it required frequent oversight from me. I found most of the subcontractors to be very good (especially the painters and framers), but it was surprising that the general contractor (Ken) never actually made a trip out to the job site over the course of the 6-month build. Also, I found it peculiar that Earl (the customer facing staffer who is tasked with estimating/selling the job) was not involved in the project going forward through construction. Earl made some representations that didn't quite come together in the final product (such as; project timeline, matching features to the existing house, and an insulated garage door). Whitney, the office manager, was always quick to respond to my queries, but was not empowered to do anything or provide any estimated timelines; everything had to go through Ken who was clearly overwhelmed. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend using Affordable, if you do, I'd suggest revising their contract to include a cash penalty concept for missing key construction dates.
