  She did excellent work today completely checked my smoke alarm systems replace them all check the wiring and gave me suggestions on other projects that I might have need of and took the time to consult with some tips that were very helpful

  Thoroughly disappointed. I rarely write reviews, but this experience warranted one. Unlike similar competitors, Ace Handyman charges through time packages rather than by the job. I was clear about what I needed when booking, and the scheduler recommended a package. On arrival, the handyman said he'd need more hours (excessive for the work I hired them for, but I understood). He then moved incredibly slowly, repeatedly going back and forth to his truck, and when time was up he couldn't even schedule a return himself; I had to call the office. When he came back the following week, several tasks I'd hired them for were already done (by me), yet he still worked at a crawl. That morning I called the office to confirm I'd be charged hourly, since I'd already paid for the original 4-hour package and the work was left halfway done. They said yes, but I was charged for the package anyway. He also tried to add a 50% surcharge on additional materials, which is bizarre given this is an Ace Hardware sister company (you'd expect a discount, not a markup). I went to Ace myself to buy the materials he recommended, and they turned out to be wrong. When I asked him to wrap up and leave, he got defensive because I wouldn't answer the survey they bring up on their tablet whether he'd done a good job. After all this, I called the office several times to reach a manager and never heard back. The work itself that he did was of good quality, but the execution and process could have been much clearer. I don’t believe this is an honest way to do business in people's homes.

  Cliff did an amazing job addressing the items where I needed assistance (eg, paint touch ups, installing door stops and bathroom faucet issue). He was very friendly and made everything look easy.

  Ryan Gepheart was on time, professional, efficient, and a nice guy. He succesfully finished 3 projects in the 2 hour time frame and everything is working really well. I recommend him to everyone and I will request him again in the future.

  Derek Patterson is an extremely efficient and true professional electrician with 40 years of experience. Derek helped to install the new ballast, replacing the old ballast which was. It compatible with the. New LED fluorescent tube lights. This was my first experience with Ace Handyman Services. I plan to use it in future. Thinking aloud: Ace Hardware Services desk could ask for the description of the problem with a few photos of the problem. Thus a customer could get an estimate and do adequate comparison of the services.
