Shout out to Emily for following proper protocol and maintaining professional boundaries at the counter. Commercial accounts and industry-specific discounts exist for a reason. I own a plumbing contracting business, but I don't walk into a restaurant supply house or a local eatery, flash my plumbing license, and expect a discount on food just because I run a business. That is simply not how commercial commerce works. Trying to penalize a dedicated counter professional with a negative review because they wouldn't grant an unauthorized discount is uncalled for. Emily did exactly what she was supposed to do. Let's let the trades handle the plumbing supply, and leave the restaurant logic for the kitchen.

For example, a pipe fitting that cost around $90 at another supplier was sold to me here for about $158 plus tax. I have a contractor/construction account and expected fair contractor pricing, but many prices still appeared far above market value. The invoices were confusing and mostly showed internal codes instead of clear item descriptions and prices. When I spoke with management about my concerns, I did not feel the issue was taken seriously. Customers deserve transparent pricing, understandable invoices, and clear explanations before spending thousands of dollars.
