We’ve used Vectra Mechanical for several jobs over the past year at our rental properties in the Golden area. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have been very disappointing. While the company is not the most affordable option, we chose to continue using them because we expected reliable service and communication. Based on our recent experiences, we will be moving on to another company.
The last two appointments were scheduled with a two hour arrival window, but technicians did not arrive within that timeframe and no one communicated any delay.
During the first appointment, I was charged a no show fee even though the technician arrived after the scheduled window had ended and the tenant needed to leave. I had to call to get the fee removed. During the second appointment, the technician was running more than 1.5 hours late past the end of the window, and again, no communication was provided until I reached out myself.
I completely understand that delays happen and jobs can run long, but the lack of communication has been unacceptable. We’ve now wasted a significant amount of time coordinating these appointments while tenants have been left waiting in warm conditions for their swamp coolers to be turned on. At this point, we will be looking for better alternatives.

We used Vectra to install a furnace that needed replacing. We are happy with their HVAC knowledge, work, and pricing. The fact that Vectra has HVAC, plumbing and electrical covered within their company (vs subcontractors) was a key factor in our decision. This is the company we will use for our HVAC needs going forward. Our project rep Dusty did a great job explaining what the home actually needs and our alternatives.

Dusty just came by to quote a boiler replacement. I was very impressed with him. He looked over my existing system in detail and checked a few things with my existing failing boiler. He very rapidly diagnosed several problems a previous technician had missed. He also pointed out a few needed upgrades due to code. He the explained options for the upgrade. The whole time answered a bunch of technical questions with lots of expertise - outstanding. Explained Vectra's expertise very well. Very pleasant to talk to. Wow - great rep for Vectra.

I had a great experience with Vectra Mechanical! We had issues with out Boiler and needed a new water heater, they were reasonably priced and didnt try to scam me into buying a new boiler when we didnt need to. Working with them was super easy, the Techs came out and handled everything and were very good at communicating to us on their progress!
We have an evaporative cooler that was installed on our roof by Vectra Mechanical in July 2024. Since then, a technician visits to Winterize the system in the late Fall, do a routine maintenence check, and then reconnect everything when Spring comes. Justin did that work in late April. As always with Vectra technicians, that work was timely, thorough, efficient, and responsive to our needs.
We always need a little re-training on using the thermostat controls, although they are quite simple, and he was very helpful in that regard. This time. Justine showed me how to disconnect and reconnect the water line if we have unseasonable, freezing temperatures. We always appreciate the good service from Vectra!
