  Can't say enough good about this place, and Kelley in particular. She helped me find a great product at a great price for a 4,000 sq ft LVP remodel back in 2021. Back then I did the whole house except for the stairs, which I left carpeted so my aging dog could make it up and down easily. Fast forward to 2025 and it's time to do the stairs. I had enough leftover product including stairnose and planks to do it, so I got three bids including one from West Coast. Ended up choosing Abbey Carpet and Floors since their bid was way under the other 2. Turns out you get what you pay for... their installation ruined my stairs and all the planks and nosing had to be ripped out and scrapped. Abbey ripped it all out leaving raw plywood and exposed nails, then walked away from their terrible installation leaving us without safe stairs and no replacement product. The manufacturer no longer makes replacements that match, either. I came back to Kelley and West Coast Flooring who helped scour every possible product line to find a good match, and guided me very helpfully through the process of finding a solution that would look good on my unique staircase that makes for tricky installation due to most current vinyl stairnose products looking hollow when viewed from the side. She found a great solution and sent a very talented installation crew out to make it absolutely perfect. The fact that this was just a staircase - a tiny job for a flooring store - made me all the more impressed that they'd put in the time and effort to help me to the extent they did. For this round, I also got a recommendation from a realtor for another store in Vista, and while their price seemed fair, they didn't invest nearly the time or energy understanding my needs and solving my problems as Kelley and her team. They even stopped by during installation to make sure it was going well, and spotted an issue that we hadn't planned for, fixing it on the fly for a perfect result. If you're doing a flooring project, you owe it to yourself to give this team a chance to win your business.

  We worked with Woody at the Vista store and he was GREAT! We had LVP installed in our whole downstairs. Woody was very knowledgeable about the product and patient with us as we worked through finding the right color/style. Woody also made sure to steer us to his favorite installers. Chris and his team worked their butts off on our install, which was not easy since our goofy base floor took 20 bags of float to get level! The result is just beautiful and we are very pleased. There were a few nits I picked with the gluing of the trim, but Woody kept on it until Chris, Erik, and the team could get back to fix them. Most sales folks, in my experience, don’t follow up like that after the sale. I’m sure that all of the folks in the Vista are great, but make sure you ask for Woody! Ask for Chris and Erik for the install!

  West Coast Flooring has the best premium high-end flooring in San Diego and surrounding communities. I bought their Shaw hardwood flooring for my entire home. My house looks fabulous and my friends could not stop giving compliments. Check them out if you want quality for great value.

  Replacing the wall to wall carpeting on the 2nd fl & stairs was long overdue. We went and got quotes from 3 different companies and all 3 were very competitive. What made the decision for us was how responsive and supportive Woody was. He met us at our convenience, helped educate us on our choices and was there for us, even supporting my wife changing her mind at the last minute. Scheduling was easy and flexible. In fact with one week's notice we needed to push the install date out...no problem. Jesus headed up the install team. He kept us informed the whole way through. He and his team busted their butts and did a superb job. Hopefully I don't need to do this again, but if I do, West Coast is getting the job.

  West Coast Flooring Center Vista helped us with selecting and installing LVP wood plan flooring in our new home. Woody, was our sales representative and main contact, and was very communicative, and very thorough, very friendly and super helpful the whole way from choosing flooring, to ordering and ensuring the install was seamless, (pun intended! haha) Seriously, the whole process was extremely efficient and everything was done on time and was completed on our schedule and within budget. Our flooring was installed by Denny and George, and their work quality was excellent! We couldn't be more pleased with our choice to use West Coast Flooring and we highly highly recommend this company in Vista, CA. Lastly, personal, excellent customer service and responsiveness, is so hard to come by these days but, go with Woody and you'll be so glad you did!
