  Buying a new HVAC system is a very big decision. From the moment Art Tru came to assess my system, I knew I had made a great choice. Today the team came in ripped out the old system (which barley worked after 40 years) and put a wonderful new system in, for about half the price I was quoted from another company. I am bitterly freezing lol. I could not be happier with the way it looks and certainly how it cools my house. Thank you so much All Weather Heating and Air. It was a pleasure doing business with you.   The heat exchanger in my 20 year old gas furnace cracked recently. Instead of just replacing it, I saw it as an opportune time to transition away from gas to all electric. My AC unit and gas water heater were also 20 years old, still functioning, but showing signs of deterioration. Both my ducting system and the insulation were inadequate. After some research and due diligence, I decided that a heat pump/air handler system and a heat pump water heater was best for me. This would of course require upgrading the insulation and the ducting system. This was a major decision for me considering my limited knowledge of these things and modest wherewithal. So I set up six appointments, three with the larger, more corporate companies, and three with smaller local companies with good reputations. I spent a lot of time with each of them, asked lots of questions, and discussed multiple options. They were all very professional. My sixth and final appointment was with Gil Medrano and All Weather Heating and Air Conditioning in Vacaville. Gil listened carefully to my needs, answered all of my many questions, and explained things patiently and clearly-given my minimal knowledge and understanding. He was direct, honest, and respectful. He guided me in choosing what was best for me, balancing my needs with costs. I never felt like he was “selling “ me something. Gil made me feel comfortable and worthy of my trust. I decided to go with Gil and All Weather Heating and Air Conditioning. The price he quoted me for: -removing all of the old equipment -installing a new electric heat pump/air handler -installing a new electric heat pump water heater -removing all of the old ducting system -redesigning and installing a new ducting system -upgrading the insulation to R60 -thoroughly cleaning up afterwards …was significantly better than the five other offers. Gil, Ricky (Gil’s son), Joey, and Edgar finished all of the work in three days. They were thorough and meticulous, honest and respectful, worked well together, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Since the work was completed (about six weeks ago), everything is working as advertised. The cooling system (I haven’t used the heater yet) is amazingly superior to my old system. I feel strongly that what I purchased is of high quality and the price was more than fair and reasonable. Gil Medrano and his company, All Weather Heating and Air Conditioning, are a tribute to the community and beyond, and if you are ever in the market for these kinds of products and services, I would give them my highest recommendation.
