  Competition Roofing did an excellent job on our low slope / flat roof replacement in Upland. The team was professional, friendly, and very efficient from start to finish. We are really happy with the quality of the work, especially since we have a flat roof which needs extra attention to waterproofing and drainage. Communication was great throughout the project. Highly recommend them for any roofing needs!

I’ve dealt with four companies in recent years that I’d recommend without hesitation—and Competition Roofing now joins that short list. I interviewed several roofing companies, including the big-name firms you constantly hear advertised across Southern California. Two of those reminded me of the old-time car salesmen—slick, high-pressure, and vague on specifics. That’s not what I got from Bob and his wife, who own and operate Competition Roofing. They were involved from start to finish, not just signing the contract and disappearing. The crew that worked on my home was professional and took real pride in their work. Every day, they cleaned up thoroughly and left my property looking excellent. The craftsmanship was exactly what I hoped for. Bob also gave me a choice that most wouldn’t have even offered: I could go with the traditional overlapping side caps or opt for a cleaner, more modern finish without them. I went with the streamlined look, and the result speaks for itself—it’s sharp, durable, and well-executed. My background is in Vocational Education, so I know what quality labor and sound construction look like. I’ve done my own work over the years, but at this point in life, I hire carefully. I look for honest, knowledgeable, licensed contractors who treat the work like it matters—and Competition Roofing hit that mark exactly. If you’re looking for a roofing company that avoids the hype, keeps things straightforward, and actually cares about doing the job right, this is it.   In 2021 Competition Roofing did roofing work for me at my little home here in Upland.The professionalism is only one aspect of why this business is the standard of hometown customer service , business and personal integrity . So much so that I’ve actually asked them for their list of other business providers because I trust their recommendations! The personable , kindness and patience from everyone I’ve dealt with in this business is 10+stars ,from Bob the owner, to Frankie , excellent , stand out service.   I am so thoroughly impressed with Mr. Currie and his team. They have been extremely professional and responsive. He developed so much trust with us throughout this process. Our building required a new roof and his quote was straightforward and set us at ease right away. I highly recommend this company.
