  This 5-star rating is strictly for my technician Cris. He was in the area for another job and decided to take my request even though my appointment was scheduled for the following day. He rightly could have waited until the following day to service my garage door (which would have forced me to miss potentially half a day of work and some income), but he graciously decided to take on the job today. He explained the issue and solution well and gave me some pointers on regular maintenance. As far as technicians go, Cris is the man. On a separate note, as usual the price for services such as these is very steep (in my opinion) and may seem like a rip-off if it turns out your issue could have been solved with help with internet/AI troubleshooting and some work on your end (which was the case for my issue). Unfortunately, my fear of breaking things beyond repair outweighs wanting to DIY a solution to potentially save money. HOWEVER, this is not to fault the company/business/technician (let me reiterate that my technician Cris was EXCELLENT); they have every right to charge what they charge and it is up to YOU as the customer to decide if it's worth it or not. What you're paying for is the fact that the professionals will confidently diagnose and fix what ever issue you have.

  I contacted Besser Garage Doors on Saturday to schedule a service call on Monday morning for our garage door opener. The remotes have been only working intermittently for quite some time. Chris was right on time within the window I was given for our appointment. After he spent some time testing our four remotes, again with intermittent success, we decided to upgrade the unit entirely, and also replace the springs. He explained all of the pricing details and options available to us. Including the initial inspection, he had everything replaced and working in about three hours. He was even nice enough to connect it to Homelink in our new truck. Thank you, Chris, for a job well done! Overall we are pleased with the service we received from this company.

He was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and a great communicator - he helped me fully understand the various products and walked me through the operating details to be certain I was confident that I made the best choice for my home.
