  We requested free inspection for our crawl space. Shayan came to our house and did a very comprehensive inspection l. He explained all the details of his inspection flow and what should we expect for every step. He did a very clean, transparent presentation of the findings and suggestions afterwards. Overall the process is very professional. Looking forward to working with the groundworks team on the potential project! Highly recommended

  I can’t say enough good things about Adam from Groundworks. He came out to inspect the foundation of my home, and I was incredibly impressed by his honesty, knowledge, and professionalism. Rather than trying to sell me something I didn’t need, Adam took the time to thoroughly explain what he was seeing, what was and wasn’t a concern, and what I should watch for in the future. I learned so much from him about my home and the signs homeowners should be paying attention to. It’s rare to have someone come to your home for an inspection and leave you feeling more educated and reassured rather than pressured into buying something. Adam earned my trust completely. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who has questions or concerns about their foundation.

  I called Groundworks to inspect a concrete issue I had at the corner of my exterior garage, whereas the concrete sidewalk had separated from the brick pillar, which was caused by the soil under the sidewalk deteriorating over time. Mark Brill of Groundworks inspected the area, and other smaller problems, and supplied a very acceptable quote. The Groundworks team of Leonard and Kevin came out within days of me approving the quote and lifted the concrete slab back into proper place and sealed the edges as well. I highly recommend Groundworks for foundation concrete repairs. Their team of employees I dealt with were very knowledgeable and extremely personable. Great job!!

  I recently completed some foundation repairs on my hillside home comprising a mixture of push-piers and tiebacks to mitigate a combination of settlement and slope creep seen at the downslope side of my house. Dillon came out to do the original inspection and estimate, and Nelson was the foreman of the crew. They were both friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the work. I am a soils engineer who has done special inspection of this type of work, so I am very familiar with how this work should go and what to expect, and I think they did a great job and I feel confident in the finished product. I was impressed with Nelson's ability to discuss in detail and explain logistical constraints and work with me to find a field fix for some challenging unexpected conditions. His whole crew was polite, hard working, and did a great job. They kept me informed of arrival times, progress each day, and any and all hiccups or changes. They did a good job of keeping my walkways clear and accessible by the end of each day (a real challenge given the locations they were working) and were always very respectful of myself, my family, and my house.

  I called Ground Works because I needed a section of my pool deck repaired. On 8/20/26, Rogelio Ramirez, a Certified Field Inspector with Ground Works, came to our home. I showed him the area of the pool deck that needed repair. At no charge, he also inspected our home and driveway. The only repair we originally wanted was the pool deck. Rogelio quoted us $1,300 for the repair, but then explained that Ground Works would not come out for a job costing less than $2,500. Based on his inspection, we decided to add driveway repairs to meet the minimum. We paid the deposit, and our appointment was scheduled for 9/10/26. On the day of the appointment, Leonard and another worker whose name I don't remember arrived. They started working on the driveway and made several holes, which was not a problem. However, when they began working on the walkway that connects to the driveway, they cracked it. I immediately confronted Leonard about the crack. His response was, “This happens. Nothing we can do about it.” I was extremely upset—not only because they had damaged something that wasn't originally a problem, but also because of how nonchalant his response was. I found his attitude very unprofessional and upsetting. I trusted Ground Works to repair existing problems, not create new ones. I called Rogelio Ramirez twice, but both calls went directly to voicemail. I left a message and also texted him a picture of the cracked walkway caused by his crew. They then moved on to the pool deck. The first section they repaired came out okay, although they did not caulk it as we had agreed. The second, larger section of the pool deck appeared to be more challenging. They worked on it for approximately 30 minutes. I saw Leonard make a phone call, and afterward he told my husband and me that they could not repair the section because there were too many roots. I don't feel that they genuinely tried to find a solution, nor did they offer us any alternatives or suggestions for how the problem could be addressed. Although they removed the cost of that portion of the pool-deck work, we still feel we paid more than the work was worth. We originally called Ground Works to repair our pool deck. Instead, we felt pressured into adding driveway repairs that we did not originally want, and we ended up with a new crack in our walkway. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. We hired Ground Works because we trusted them to fix problems with our home. Unfortunately, we were left feeling that they created an additional problem, did not complete the repair we originally hired them to do, and did not take responsibility for the damage or offer a satisfactory solution. Edit: Spoke with Everett Hamilton from Ground Works on 9/14/26. He was very professional and Pleasant. Unfortunately there is no solution regarding the pool deck however he is giving us a full refund. For that we are grateful. Thank you Everett.
