  AC unit stopped working right in the middle of the hottest part of the heat wave. I was able to make a next day appointment for someone to come out on their website. Tommy came to service the unit and check out why it wasn’t working. He was able to diagnose the issue right away. Luckily, the fix wasn’t astronomical and he was able to fix it on the spot. I felt the pricing was fair, especially since it was within 18 hours of the issue happening and it was during a major heat wave. So grateful I was able to get the issue fixed in less than 24 hours. Thank you!

  Very disappointing experience with AirWorks Solutions. We have been trying for approximately a month to get a warranty issue resolved on an HVAC system they installed for us only about 15 months ago. We paid $8,300 for the system and installation. Communication has been extremely frustrating. It is nearly impossible to get a human being on the phone, calls are not returned, and emails have gone unanswered. After weeks of trying to get a response, we finally heard back only after I mentioned that I was considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The current issue involves a leaking TXV on this relatively new system. Our invoice clearly states a “3 year labor warranty guaranteed,” yet AirWorks is now denying coverage based on a claim that the unit was required to be serviced by a licensed HVAC contractor every six months. I have reviewed our agreement and do not see that requirement stated anywhere. I have asked AirWorks to provide the specific written warranty language supporting this requirement and to explain how a lack of six-month servicing caused the TXV to leak. At this point, my biggest concern is not just the warranty dispute, but the complete lack of communication and difficulty getting anyone to address the problem. Spending $8,300 on a system that is only about 15 months old and then struggling for a month just to get a meaningful warranty response is extremely disappointing. A warranty does not mean much if you cannot get the company to respond when you actually need service. I will update this review if AirWorks resolves the issue appropriately.

  The tech, Nick A., was great. He showed me all the issues, explained and showed me how to review the estimate and explained what I can do in the meantime before making a decision on my options. I wasn’t wild about the AI assistant when I called and texted to make the appointment, so today when I heard from a live person confirming my appointment time and if it could be earlier, that was a reassuring. Booking through the AI assistant wasn’t better than talking to a real person and I found it to be a very impersonal way of doing business for a locally-owned business. They seem like a great company but I am pouring through the estimates and see that they’re not the most affordable company but the techs and company seem reliable. Need to make an expensive decision and it’s overwhelming but was happy with the service today.

  We are SO happy with our new central AC system! We have survived for years in Camarillo without air conditioning. A few fans and an “emergency” window unit that we’d run on the nights it was too hot to sleep seemed to be enough. This summer hit different, and we knew we finally needed to make a change. We got other quotes, but Nick conducted the most thorough consultation and presented us with solutions that actually met our needs. We knew immediately this company was the right fit for us. The technicians were all extremely polite and professional, introducing themselves as they arrived, and were extremely mindful of our pets. The entire experience has been a pleasure and now it is 72° in my house! Well worth the investment. I will highly recommend their services to friends & family.

  Highly recommend Tommy at Air Works! Earlier this week, we had an HVAC technician from another company come out to troubleshoot our system. Their solution was to use compressed air to clear the primary drain line. Unfortunately, after running the AC for a few hours, the same problem returned. That company then told us the coil needed to be replaced. When Tommy from Air Works came out, he spent several hours working in an extremely hot attic and thoroughly troubleshooting the system. He identified that the HVAC system was producing too much airflow for the existing ductwork and square footage. After he opened a valve to improve ventilation, water began flowing properly through the drain line. Tommy’s tenacity, knowledge, and honesty helped identify the actual cause of the problem and potentially saved us from an unnecessary and expensive coil replacement. Those qualities go a long way, and we greatly appreciate the time and effort he put into getting this resolved. I highly recommend Tommy and Air Works
