  We were just WOWED by Tobias who went out of his way to not only find us the exact material we needed for a job, but also to thoughtfully point out some things to consider which never would have entered our mind when it came to making the right selection. Tobias didn't just point to where things were; he patiently guided the process, interacted with our maintenance person and really explained certain things we were to consider. We were very impressed with Tobias and though this location is a bit of a drive from Carlsbad, it is well worth the trip. Thank you, Dixieline, for your selection of inventory and the fine folks you hire. We will be back!

  As much as I would love to see the smaller businesses do as well as the mega corporations I admit that there are times when the personal service that should be their first priority to make themselves stand out and above the much larger and more affordable bigger inventory retail competitors is sadly not apparent or non existent. No enthusiasm, no store spirit or work/job pride. Maybe it is a case of it bleeds down from the top...I would hope not but I have seen and maybe have been that one bad apple that spoiled the rest. So I don't want to pass judgement on one or two experiences or individuals that cause such rants, but if it was my business I would want to be aware of my strengths and weaknesses and find a way to exploit the competitions weakness while elliminating or minimalizing my own... Sorry Dixieline, I admit I only go to your stores as a last resort.

  This place is the worst!!!!! In customer service!!!! The people working there need to find another line of work. They just don't care like Camron in Soloana beach. It's awful!!! I only go there like every one else. HD is 30min away. I may just have to enjoy driving the extra distance. fyi this is NOT the first time I have gotten horrible customer service. They just don't care!!!!

  Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. I didn't know businesses still function this way. I went to the Dana Point and the Silana Beach locations. This is a very well run business!

  Very helpful staff getting paint matched and help with other stuff I needed! Excellent customer service. Update: took a bit to find right person today for a plumbing question, but answer given.
