  Had this company install My progress Solar recently by panel caught on fire one of the breakers because they fix an old Old panel, they put a subpanel in the garage when the technician reached back out he said that the panel backed in PG&E wouldn’t let him do it over the gas meter but now PG&E lets them do it but they say hey look sorry that you had that problem with having no power for 14 hours and that this might cause a problem again but hoping to have to charge you $2500 to put this new panel which they should’ve did from the Gate and got it done right bad customer service. I would not recommend this company just because they do not want to come back and finish up the work right after the box almost caught on fire. I had a higher my own personal Electrician to get it fixed my wife Is a diabetic and needed the refrigerator to be hooked up bad service

  Horrible company. They installed our solar over a year ago. They put holes in our brand new roof from the screws that they used that were too long for our mobile home. We still don't have the system completely up and running. All we have gotten from this company is stress and the runaround on every single thing.

  ive ordered an enphase system to be installed. iv also requested for an ev charger to be installed. what i was given was a nema 14-50 outlet. they assumed that i had a portable charger from tesla and thats the reason i was given an ev outlet instead of a level 2 charger. and for that nema 14-50 outlet to be installed i was charged $1050 and that price was discounted at 30%. im still dealing with that situation. alyssa said she was my point of contact and ive been messaging her and lately she hasnt replied. i need to get in touch with her supervisir manager or head of operations. solar savings direct dont waste your time with these guys. find someone else solar savings direct merged into MARS energy. Dont go to any of them. solar savings direct are scammers BIG TIME. how much do you guys think it costs to install a 240v outlet or even a nema 14-50 and to have it installed? it isnt no where near $1050!!! my system was up on april 20 and didnt get to use it until last days of july. and for the ev charger that i said that i wanted they gave me a nema 14-50 outlet that im still trying to get answers about.

  Quality of this installer has gone down over the years. Note that this company has been acquired by Mars Home Solutions, so this review applies to them as well. My complaint centers primarily around the complete ineptitude in completing the final inspection, which took around 9 months from the actual install. The inspection failed 4 times. Was it because the inspector kept finding new issues? No - it's simply because the issues pointed out by the inspector were not resolved by the time the next inspection happens. The pattern went like this: - Inspector clearly communicates what needs to be fixed - Solar Savings Direct send out a contractor 30 minutes before the next inspection and doesn't resolve the issue (and in some cases was unaware of the scope of work needed to be completed) - Inspector then fails the inspection again. Rinse & repeat I called the city and talked to the inspector myself. Very reasonable guy. Was very clear about what needed to be done and was not asking for anything unreasonable. I eventually had to drag in the CEO of Solar Direct to get the issue resolved. Additionally, all of the INDIVDUALS from Solar Savings Direct were reasonable to work with on a personal level. Support team, techs - all great individually, no complaints. But the core issue is that the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, and the result is that a simple process drags out months and wastes countless hours of your time. The people on the ground are great. The inspection operations/management staff should be fired for incompetence. I have to give Solar Savings Direct / Mars Home Solutions 1 star because a routine inspection should not take 9 months, and all of the failures to pass the inspection were completely self inflicted due to management incompetence.
