  I had my HVAC system installed in 2020 or 2021 and had great customer service up until now. Sometime recently, they've decided to use AI to screen their calls and you are unable to talk with someone in the office. I am in their membership program which requires monthly payments and grants me routine maintenance on my system. However, Kilowatt skipped my last service appointment. When I called to check in, I was greeted by an AI bot - one thing that WAS good about this business, is that they had great person-to-person customer service, now they choose AI. When I was able to circumvent the AI, I was forwarded to a call center. The operator informed me I was removed from the membership, though the company has been collecting my monthly fees. When I asked to be connected to someone in the actual office, the operator refused. When asked when my call would be returned, the operator said he didn't know. TL;DR - AI bots screen calls and schedule appoints, collected fees but haven't provided services.

  Kilowatt sent their technician Francis to troubleshoot our HVAC system that had stopped producing cold air. While the problem was in our outdoor condenser, he was thorough and checked the other components of our system to verify there were not any additional hidden problems. He had the parts needed on his truck and was able to bring our system back to life during this single visit. He also made recommendations for additional service which would improve efficiency and extend the life of our 10-year-old system even further. I’m very pleased with results and Francis’s thoroughness and will be calling Kilowatt in the future as needs arise.

  Professional, quick, friendly service. It sucked to have my AC go out on one of the hottest days of the year, but they got it going again (thought I was going to have to replace it), and were very open and honest about things. I imagine you can find cheaper options out there, but they got the job done… which is worth a lot to me!

  I recommend Kilowatt HVAC. They are very professional, know their stuff, helpful. John is a great technician. I have used other companies and the difference is noticeably better with them. Pricing is fair. I have had some really price gouging by other companies in the past.

  This company is a complete scam. I change my AC and They charge nearly double the price because they always sell through financing. I signed a contract for $14,000, cash and the vendor clearly told me that $14,000 was the total price we don’t charge any extra for use your credit card, I paid $1,000 upfront, leaving a $13,000 balance. Now they have charged me an additional $1,497.74 without any explanation or justification. I expect them to honor the original contract and the agreed-upon price. Do not trust their vendors. Once they have your money, it is extremely difficult to contact the vendor again. Be very careful before doing business with this company.
