Fuse provided an incredible experience with our home EV charger installation! The entire process was completely seamless and hassle-free. Anthony came out to give us an initial quote, then promptly followed up and handled scheduling as soon as we were ready. Their team took care of all the permit paperwork seamlessly. On installation day, our technician, Oleg, was extremely thorough, efficient, and finished the job in just a few hours—leaving the area spotless. We are thrilled with the service and highly recommend Anthony, Oleg, and the Fuse team for any electrical needs!

Roman was professional, arrived when he said he would, followed directions to get into the complex and park at the right place, and was knowledgeable about the system despite it being a 30-year-old system. He tested the system after installing our new thermostat and made recommendations for us to keep it running efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend him! The booking was also easy despite the first few minutes of talking with AI going pretty haywire. I had to repeat my name and email address spelling multiple times, and it even got my service address wrong. I would recommend trying to speak with a human as early as possible in the call. I have zero complaints with the humans, just with the robots.

Title: Unfair billing and pressure to pay for uncompleted work Rating: 1 / 5 Stars I hired Fuse Service for a ductwork and HVAC repair job. . The contract explicitly listed "Plenum installation/replacement" as a major line item. During the job, the technician determined that my existing plenum box did not need to be replaced and left the original one in place. However, when I asked for the estimate to be adjusted to reflect the omitted work, the manager offered an insulting $100 deduction. A plenum box replacement involves significant labor, custom fabrication, and sealing to code—saving the company hours of work and material costs. Offering a token $100 off a $3,600+ job is completely disproportionate and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the technician pressured me on-site to pay the full balance immediately before leaving, despite the dispute and the incomplete scope of work. Collecting payment for unperformed work violates basic fair business practices. If you hire Fuse Service, be extremely cautious with their bundled lump-sum pricing, and make sure every single line item is completed before you let a technician pressure you into paying. I am still waiting for management to provide an honest, itemized breakdown and a fair refund for the work they did not perform.

We had a great experience with Fuse. We have an older rental property that originally had heating but no AC, and Fuse replaced the system with a new heat pump. The new unit is working very well and is surprisingly quiet. Azamat and Elmar did an excellent job with the installation. They had to repair some wall damage afterward, and I was particularly impressed with how carefully they matched the existing paint. The repair and paint work blended in seamlessly — you really can't tell where the wall was repaired. Azamat also made a separate trip to walk me through the new system, explain how to operate it, and point out things I should watch for. I really appreciated that extra effort and attention to detail. Jeff was our salesperson and was very responsive throughout the process and easy to work with. One more thing that really stood out: they did us a much-appreciated favor by hauling away some construction debris that had been left behind by another contractor. They absolutely didn't have to do that, but it was incredibly helpful. Overall, Fuse was professional, responsive, and went beyond the basic scope of the job. We're very happy with the new heat pump and would definitely recommend them.

Update after installation: Installation only took one day, and was only for the heat pump water heater. (We'll replace the radiant heat boiler at a later date.) The Fuse project manager (Teo Pyndus-Pastukh) was knowledgeable and responsive, and the installers (Sergei M. and another man) worked quietly and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. It would have been helpful to have more information up-front about how long we would be without hot water during the installation (6 hours), how long it would be before we had hot water again after the installation (no delay), and how long the electricity would be off (it wasn't). It was also a surprise that there was no outside unit (the heat pump was in the water heater itself), and that a wifi app was required. None of those was explained before installation (so I'm keeping my rating at 4 stars). Original post: Heat pump installation takes A WEEK, and you'll be without (radiant) heat and hot water during that time. (I wanted to put that as the first sentence so readers will see it.) The 4 stars are for Teo Pyndus-Pastukh who came out to do the site inspection, was very thorough, was patient with our myriad questions, and gave us confidence in the system. HOWEVER, the install time wasn't mentioned and wasn't in any of the program info (from City of Palo Alto Utilities), and only after Teo's visit did we learn that installation takes a week and we won't have heat or hot water during that time. (I may be back with an update after the installation.)
