  I can't recommend Erik enough! He went above and beyond to not only fix the issue but also take the time to explain everything he was seeing and why it mattered. As a business owner, I really appreciated that he walked me through the electrical system, answered all of my questions, and helped me understand what was going on instead of just rushing through the job. He was knowledgeable, honest, professional, and genuinely cared about finding the right solution. It's rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and willing to educate their customers along the way. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician they can trust.

  I highly recommend Poor Boy Electric and Lighting. From replacing malfunctioning dimmers with easy to use switches to updating our home with new combo carbon monoxide/smoke detectors to illuminating our dimly lit reading areas with state of the art track lighting, Erik and Kyle combine technical expertise with wonderful customer service.

  The PoorBoy team arrived promptly and gave me excellent advice and explanations of why I should use certain outlets and LED bulbs. They were thorough, kind, and very informative.   Eric and Kyle did a solid job installing my ceiling fan in my master bedroom. They were on time, responsible, well priced and did a clean install. They were also super helpful in planning out other projects in my home and spent the time to explain all the options. Would highly recommend these guys!
