The work was done today by two mechanics who were on time, worked well together and were experienced, and the job was done in a very reasonable time. I would definitely recommend Dwan Elevator Co. to repair a dumbwaiter.

Management emailed saying they won't try and fix anymore and to decommission elevator or replace it and then they would help. Called another company that easily fixed the simple electrical issue. Poor management and customer service.

Their mechanic came out and spent 2.5 hours trying to figure out an electrical problem and was told by his supervisor to leave. Dwan then messaged me saying they will no longer service our elevator unless we decommission, fully modernize, or completely replace. Can you believe this? No service unless you pay us hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars. I called another elevator repair company, and they had no trouble finding the issue and repairing it quickly. Dwan has terrible business practices and management will try to force you to do unnecessary expensive overhauls. BEWARE using Dwan and definitely get a second opinion if they try to strongarm you into a costly repair. Better to not waste your time and money like we did. Also, do not write a review on the Google link Dwan send you as it "mysteriously" will not get counted or seen as a review on Google. Use Google directly to write a review.
