  Oliver from THA plumbing did a great job and was very friendly. Usually inconveniences such as a busted pipe can be frustrating and upsetting but he was wonderful and made sure there was no leak remaining. He also cleaned up the area affected. Thank you oliver!!!

  After spending more than eight hours working at a hot outdoor event, all I wanted was to come home and sit in a cool house. Instead, I noticed my outdoor AC fan slowing down and eventually stopping during a nearly 100-degree San Diego heat wave. I started calling HVAC companies around 5 PM on a Saturday, basically the worst possible time. The Padres were playing in the postseason, several companies advertising “24/7 emergency service” didn’t answer, and others had AI receptionists that collected a ton of information before finally telling me nobody was available. Another company told me I could pay an emergency fee for a diagnostic, but there was no guarantee they could fix anything because the supply houses were closed. I understood that, but there’s a way to communicate that to someone who is stressed and sitting in a very hot house. I was willing to pay a premium and still couldn’t find anyone. I honestly thought we were going to have to get a hotel room. Then I called THA and spoke with Matthew, the owner. Instead of telling me why it couldn’t be fixed, Matthew started problem solving. He asked for a video, watched it, and told me he was about 97% confident his team could fix it. He was incredibly kind and completely transparent about pricing. Given the circumstances, he easily could have taken advantage of the situation. He didn’t. His price was honest and fair. He was even willing to come out himself if needed. By around 6 PM, Oscar was at my house. He diagnosed a bad capacitor and got to work. Another newer team member was just as kind and worked hard to track down the last piece they needed. Even with the supply houses closed, they figured it out and got my AC running that night. Matthew had told me Oscar had already been slammed with far more service calls than usual that day, and I really appreciated that Matthew was clearly thinking about the wellbeing of his employees and didn’t want his team overworked. But you never would have known Oscar had already had such a long day. He was patient, kind, and genuinely happy to help. Oscar told me how much he loves what he does because he loves helping people, and that is exactly how he showed up for me. Oscar also told me it was a really good thing I had shut the system down when I noticed the fan failing because continuing to run it could have turned this into a much bigger problem. I mentioned how sweet Matthew had been on the phone, and Oscar told me Matthew isn’t just a great boss, he’s an actual leader and a genuinely good human. Hearing an employee speak about the owner that way, especially someone who has worked for other HVAC companies, says a lot about the kind of company they’ve built. I actually told Oscar I wish I had found THA when I needed an entirely new HVAC system installed at another property. I went through a large company for that job and dealt with poor customer service, overpromising, underdelivering, and a disappointing installation. I know exactly who I’ll be calling next time. This is why I love supporting genuinely local businesses instead of huge corporations or private-equity-owned companies. THA treated me like a person, was honest about the cost, and looked for a solution when everyone else was telling me why they couldn’t help. Matthew, Oscar, and the whole THA team, thank you. After a very long and very hot day, you truly saved our Saturday night. You have a customer for life.

  I had several HVAC companies come out to inspect my heating system and provide quotes. After comparing them, I decided to go with THA because they offered the most reasonable price without compromising on quality. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and completed the heater replacement according to code. They used high-quality, reputable brands, and the installation was done very neatly. Since the replacement, my heating system has been working perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’m very satisfied with their workmanship, professionalism, and fair pricing.
