  So you charged my father who is 82 years old and a retired veteran $469.00 to replace a $20 breaker? I know gas and time but do you not think that's a little excessive? The extreme heat, need for electricity and poor timing of the outage made it necessary to reach out to SRP. When I spoke on the phone with the original intake representative I asked about a military and elderly discount. Was that included in the service? Sad to say I feel like your company came upon an elderly man with a check book and saw dollar signs. After calling around and AI research $100 to $250 is the average for a licensed mobile electrician to do the exact same job. Shame on you guys I will be calling your company tomorrow.

  Edward was here for about 7 minutes to diagnose our haunted house. Got a weird voltage reading on a outlet, went out to check the panel, and immediately knew it was highly likely on the SDGE side. No charge for the visit. He also advised me on the short and long-term condition of our panel and advised on some rewiring needs that will help it to realize it's maximal longevity. Great service!

  I really like these guys! I’ve used them for both big and small jobs and have been happy each time. The first time they came out was to replace some outlets that had died. Quick and easy and very kind (good price too compared to this other company that wanted to charge a boatload). The second time was for two panel upgrades which involved getting a work order from SDGE. I had called a few other companies just to check other processes and prices. SRP was literally the only one that fully explained the permits, how working with SDGE would go, and the details of the panel replacements. The other two companies said that they wouldn’t do the SDGE permits and that we would have to fill everything out ourselves which sounded like a logistical nightmare. SRP really saved us so much stress and time because they literally handle everything. For the work itself they were always timely and communicative. I’m a first time mom and have a newborn at home and I was a little anxious about having people in the house. But these guys were so so so patient with me and were as quiet and clean as possible, seriously they’re so nice. I will always use these guys and reccomend them to anyone in San Diego.   I had a great experience with SRP Electric, especially with their technician, Edward Pena. Edward was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and took pride in his workmanship. He explained everything clearly and made sure the work was done properly. The pricing was fair, and in my opinion, you truly get what you pay for. Edward also recommended installing a whole-house surge protector to help protect my electrical system and bring it up to code, which I appreciated because he was looking out for the long-term safety and reliability of my home. What stood out the most was Edward’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He followed up after the work was completed and took the time to address the concerns I originally had. That level of service is hard to find. I would definitely recommend SRP Electric and Edward Pena to anyone looking for reliable, professional electrical work. I’ll be using SRP Electric for my future electrical needs.

  I had never used SRP Electric before, nor was I referred. I was impressed by their responses to reviews on line but I was cut off by an answering service when I called, so I was going to move on. But w/in minutes, they called back; the person calling was apologetic and totally on board with my situation, got me set up with an appointment right away, and the electrician they sent out was great - impressive with his knowledge (despite looking much younger than his years), and even pointed out an old wiring situation that was not to code that I will look into. He was very friendly, took care of my inspection, and barely charged anything. I definitely recommend this company; they are honest, go above and beyond, and I trust them. You don't expect that everyday from a company you find on line and had never heard of before. Gives you faith that such companies are still out there!
