  I had a very strange experience walking into this establishment. From the moment I came through the door, I felt like I didn't belong there. The first interaction with the front desk associate was disappointing. Instead of a welcoming greeting, her attitude came across as, "What are you doing here?" (This was the blonde). I asked if I needed an appointment, and she said no. However, she continued asking several odd questions that made the interaction feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. As a customer, I expect to be greeted respectfully and made to feel welcome. You don't get this type of treatment at places like Floor & Decor. This business should invest in better customer service training and teach employees how to properly interact with customers. A simple "Hello, welcome" would be a good place to start. But then again I don’t blame this employee for being the way she is after she has to sit in a desk for a minimum 6 hrs a day. I’d also like to state I’m a real estate agent who practices all over SoCal. I’ve worked on dozens of home remodel projects from Beverly Hills, La Jolla, Santa Barbara. As I was charging my vehicle I noticed this flooring show room. I thought I’d stop in and maybe come out with some new products/ ideas..Nope. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews. They don’t lie.

  Why would I go back to Metro Flooring? Because of Lisa L. I have several flooring shops within a mile of each other on Miramar, and I visited all of them. In all stores, Lisa L. stood above every store rep regarding offering great advice, was so kind, patient with my questions, and exceedingly professional, not just with me, but all others with whom she interacted in the store. Due to technical foundation problems that we need to fix first, we are delaying our purchase, but will engage with Lisa L. in the future as well as recommending her to my friends.

  My family has been dealing with Metro Flooring since the early 1990’s. Their service and products are always exactly on point. Nat, Bruce and Mike always provide personal, professional service above and beyond.

  It has been our pleasure to work with Mike and his team again on two recent high value projects in UTC and La Jolla. The flooring activity was addressed and closed out to a very high standard and rapid fire. Mikes overall management was excellent and most obliging after tough negotiations. Mike excelled again in resolving a blinds issue in a property without hesitation. Thank you, Mike
