- GKGrant KadokuraApr 11, 20254.0First off, we really love our new space! We cannot overstate how happy we are with how it turned out, and we now want to spend all our time at home. We took out a wall separating our kitchen and living room to make one big great room and added a new bedroom and bathroom. The good: Jonathan and Pete were great to work with. We had heard a lot of re-modeling horror stories about blown budgets and delays. Pete was able to avoid both of those things while keeping the mood light-hearted and positive. Jonathan was always responsive and helpful. And shout out to Enrique and Christina who helped us figure out our vision for the space. The bad: We struggled with the electrician. He was very unresponsive and the quality of the work was not up to par with the rest of the trades. We can't quite give a 5-star review since we felt this should have been better. To Marrokal's credit, they stand by their work and brought a new electrician in to fix the main issues. Overall, we are happy we chose to work with Marrokal and are enjoying living in our new home!

Mike's design team from day one with the concept drawings showing how the project would look like to the end results. Mike's team are excellent people to work with. The project manager who overseen the project, to the contractors doing the work are qualified people that know there trade.
