  I had a great experience working with John Robinson. He was easy to schedule with, arrived on time, and was professional from start to finish. Throughout the inspection, he explained what he was looking at, why it mattered, and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. His inspection was thorough, and I left feeling much more informed about the condition of the home and the repairs I should prioritize.   6/21/26 I hired John Robinson’s Inspection Group because I am planning to renovate my home and wanted a very detailed, honest assessment of the property before making major decisions. This was not a typical pre-listing inspection. I needed a thorough understanding of the current condition of the home, including visible issues, potential areas of concern, safety items, and the types of challenges I could face if certain problems were not addressed. John exceeded my expectations. When I received the 89-page report, I was honestly blown away. The report was extremely detailed, well organized, and easy to understand. It clearly identified the challenges and issues I need to address and gave me a much better understanding of which areas require priority attention as I move forward with contractors, designers, and other licensed professionals. One of the most valuable parts of the report was how the findings were organized into observation items, attention items, and safety concerns. The “Very Important Next Steps” section was especially helpful and, in my opinion, priceless. It gave me a clear path for how to review the report, identify the items needing repair or further evaluation, and follow up with the appropriate licensed contractors and specialists. The photos in the report were also priceless. It was almost as if John had put together a complete binder on the home. The level of detail, documentation, and organization gave me a much clearer picture of the property and helped me feel better prepared to make informed decisions before investing more money into repairs or improvements. The inspection was money well spent and, in many ways, priceless during this planning and investment stage. John provided the kind of professional insight that most homeowners would not be able to identify on their own. His trained eye helped uncover important areas of concern, clarify what needed attention, and give me a much stronger foundation for making informed decisions about the property. The sewer line scope was also extremely helpful and gave me important information that I would not have known otherwise. I am including one photo with this review showing the report summary, including the number of items inspected, observation items, attention items, safety concerns, and the “Very Important Next Steps” section. I chose this photo because it best reflects the organization, detail, and practical value of the report without needing to post close-up photos of the specific issues inside the home. I highly recommend John Robinson’s Inspection Group to anyone who wants a thorough, professional, and honest inspection.   We had a buyers inspection, and while we were there they had rushed through the whole inspection in less than 25 mins, and keep in mind this is a 3500 sq foot house... ALSO we paid upwards of 700$ to get this house inspected, and was referred by a realtor to get this job done by them. In the end I was left wondering why they rushed through it, and come to find out all of the GFCI (plugs) do not work in all of the bathrooms and also the garage does not open AT ALL. Horrible service and completely unprofessional, even them talking me through the overview of the property was flustered through and completely unprofessional. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!!
